I can't fault Ned for that.

Huh? He gave up an out to play for one run in the 3rd inning! Why give up an out in any situation, let alone the 3rd?

at the same time you can say how many games this year have the nats been in one run games..... yes 3rd is kinda early, but weeks could have beat that out if it wanst back at the pitcher.

The Brewers don't score a lot of runs anyway. A two run lead seems good to me considering the way they pitch.

I said I can't blame him. Ya'll can blame anyone you wish.

I have no problem with bunts in some situations, but you need high average contact hitters up to make sure you get in that run and this year Overbay, Lee, Jenkins are not that. Its not playing the odds using weeks to bunt clark over.

when you bunt weeks you KNOW you have a very good chance of it being a single. the man has speed. Its NOT giving yourself up like sheets or cappy would.

Well if the corners are in and the infield is waiting for it, not really. The only reason it was close was because the pitcher took a look at third base before he threw.

Green Shirt Guy is a dirty liar. The bat belongs to Yellow Shirt Guy. Green Shirt Guy should be beaten with the bat by Yellow Shirt Guy.

I would have swung away after he missed the first one. If I was coach... but we all have are own ideas...
