Nope Helms is at .300 now exactly.

I sure would've never 'thunk' it http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

He was hitless the first 20 games!

And yes, Ohka still has a better ERA than johan. 3.34-3.47

Of course - 790 K's to Ohka's <500 isn't very close...

Thanks for the info.

Ohka's probably not real fond of Miller Park at this point, but if he'd stop hanging sliders to Hunter, it'd still be 1-1.

What did the guy get for Rickie's HR ball? I missed the segment, so I'm curious.

A signed mini-helmet of Rickie

A team signed ball

A signed bat (not sure if game-used or not)

He said he tried dealing for a signed jersey and they wouldn't give him one... He should have walked http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Yost said something interesting yesterday saying pitchers throw 10-15 bad pitches a game so it is important to not throw them to their best hitters. D Lee and Torrii have smoked mistakes!

I dont know what to make of Ohka. Since he is here, he just throws strikes. So he gets outs, ks and home runs... and no walks. That is not like his previous form. I am happy when a pitcher does not walk guys. Maybe Maddux already has an effect. Actually, when Ohka threw his first bullpen for the Crew after arrival, Maddux said he was a strike throwing machine.

I just hope he does not give up too many bombs. Maybe he should nibble a little more. I dont know. Better to hear from you guys who can WATCH what happens. Does he have decent stuff?

Rickie Weeks is good. Real good. After years of watching people like Glenn Braggs, Antone Williamson, and Kyle Peterson fizzle; I can't believe Rickie is on our team.

Since Bill Schroeder has made the same mistake twice, it may as well come up twice in the game threads.

An inning or so ago, he said the AL doesn't steal many bases. Guess what, Bill?

2005 AL: 584 (41.7 per team)

2005 NL: 574 (35.9 per team)

2004 AL: 1253 (89.5 per team)

2004 NL: 1336 (83.5 per team)

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

We need a hit here, Carlos.

Ask and you shall receive

Isn't it cool to look at the line-up and see three edit my bad four 300 hitters. Probably won't see it again for a while.
