Peavy looks pretty good today. Obie, well he could pull a Sheets. Probably just jitters.

If Obie gives up a multi-run first, it wont matter how good he does for the rest of the game.

ja, I always use sportsline to follow the games. It seems to be the best to me... unlike espn that can be innings behind, and everybody goes home before the late games finish, so some games appear to stop in the 4th inning until the next day!

Good AB by Jenks............too bad it ended in a K though http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif

Ok I have to admit something. I bet I'm gonna get called out for this one and bashed without mercy, but I'll say it anyhow:

I think Geoff Jenkins is showing some pretty good signs the past two games. I think he's looking like the days of old when on defense lately. I would dare to say that he has just about finished off the transition from left to right.

Last night in the 8th inning when Jenkins came up to bat, he knew it was time for a hit. He knew that he was being counted on and looked to as a team leader. He delivered. Jenkins is the main reason we were in that game like we were.

In Geoff's last AB (in bottom of 3rd) for this game, he had an 11 pitch at bat and looked pretty dialed in. He crushed one to right that was just foul. I know it ended ultimately with another K, but I think that he is gonna catch fire soon.

Go ahead, blast away. I fear nothing. I am comfortable with what I have said. I'd imagine I am not alone.

-I used to have a neat-o signature, but it got erased.

Well, Bottom of the third: bases loaded and nobody out.

This isn't gonna be good. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif

The way this inning is going, I'll be glad to escape with only one run, especially considering Dave Roberts was the first walk. Of course, that also brings up the fact that the Padres win almost every game in which they score first. Here's to a better outting next time for Obie.

It may not be the worst thing in the world, but it sure didn't make Ned too happy. He's showing the quick hook tonight. Probably appropriate.

Is there some kind of rule that requires brewer 5th starters to fall behind every batter, 4 pitch walks, and have base runners galore?
