After his last start, I am beginning to get concerned. Is he ok?

Well, according to his family member that posts here, he has mononucleosis, which I am a little stunned that they are letting him pitch through.

Yeah really, I can't imagine mono would help you pitch.

I guess the severity is not too extreme, but usually they prescribe extra rest.

 

Just make sure he doesn't kiss his teamates.

Well, not that having Mono is a good thing ...but it is way better than discomfort in his shoulder or something like that.

Isn't this what sapped Casey Kotchman of his prospect-status last year, though that was at the ML level. Why wouldn't they just shut him down for a coupel weeks before he gets bumped to Huntsville, in opes of keeping him fresh for a late season bullpen call-up?

Great outing by Inman tonight. Hopefully this is a sign that he is feeling better. I grew concerned when I saw the numbers he was putting up following his promotion to Huntsville. I have heard that the jump from A+ to AA is the most difficult. Hopefully he is healthy now and the Mono is behind him.
