Clark is battting .462 with a .563 on-base %, 4 doubles, 1 triple, and only 2 strikeouts in 5 games (15 plate appearances). 12 total bases in 15 plate appearances. 6-13 hitting, 8-15 getting on-base.

Krynzel is batting .300 (3-10) with 4 walks. Has a .500 oba in 14 plate appearances. 3-10 hitting, 7-14 for getting on-base.

They're both doing pretty well, especially Clark.

he is 3 for 11 with for walks, I don't know exactly what Clark's numbers are, but I know he leads all leagues in doubles so far.

Oh, that's better than I thought. Clark is 6/13 with 4 2b's

Mark A. just mentioned about how fans are frustrated with wanted to see the Brewers on TV or hear them on the radio and are unable to do so because of how FSN and WTMJ structures their contracts. He said it was something that 'we're going to talk to them about'.

I for one would love it if Mark could get FSN to televise every Brewers game. Or even if he could find a way to get around the blackout of the other team's feed on the internet when FSN chooses not to televise the game.

Mark A. Just called Sheets "vitally important to the future of this club". he also said that Ben likes Milwaukee, enjoys raising his son here, his wife likes it, and he's the prototype of the kind of star he'd like to see on the team.

He also just said that "It is accepted that [J.J. Hardy] will be the starting shortstop for this team"

Anyone else out there horribly conflicted about whether to root for or against Hardy this spring?

No. Why would we want Hall at SS the whole year?

I thought long and hard about this, but could not come up with a single reason to root against JJ Hardy this year or this spring. So, No.

On a side note - JJ had a sweet 2 Rbi double and Dave Krynzel with a sweet 2 rbi single. 4-1 Crew

Absolutely not. If you want to see a SS who has half a clue how to take a walk and catch the ball, you'd be wise to root for Hardy as well.

I am not sure why anyone would be rooting against Hardy. His D is major league ready and I think he will surprise with his stick. In fact, I am about ready to go buy a #7 Hardy jersey. He will soon become a fan favorite.

How many errors does Rickie have this year? Seems like one a game is the norm.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Yeah, I am gonna get a jersey this year. It wil either be Sheets (If it looks like he will sign an extension), Lee (again, if it appears he will be around longer than 2 years) or Hardy.

Hopefully Hardy can be the next Yount for this franchise. Both drafted out of high school and both the kind of leaders you want on your team. IIAY where do you plan to get a jersey? I want to get one of his too and I'm not sure where to go.

Why would you root against a prospect of his calibur? It's not like the 2nd base situation we have with Spivey and Weeks. We don't have a definitive SS.

Looks like the the Weeks error was a bad DP turn. His error Sunday a poor DP feed.

Rickie's defensive progress will be just as important, if not more, than his offensive progress in AAA this year, IMO.

For a jersey, go to milwaukeebrewers.com and select shop. Look for a customizable jersey. You can make it say whatever you like http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

The only problem with player jerseys for baseball is that if you want one that looks like the actual ones and not that cheesy block lettering you have to fork over quite a few bucks. I don't have any Brewers player jerseys but would like to get Jenkins and Hardy.

I'm just not totally convinced that JJ should be called up yet, and it appears the only way he's going back to AAA is to put up some lousy spring training numbers. Since the Brewers aren't going to contend this year, what's the rush to start his arby clock? Not to mention he's been out of action for quite a while. Why not see how things go in Nashville and if he's tearing up the PCL come June, give him the job.

On the other hand... another Brewers ROY award wouldn't be bad.

Of course my feelings may be subconsciously clouded by the fact that I'll likely see more Sounds games than Brewers games this year.
