Did SUtton just say "as the Brewers pull a little closer in this game?"

Uh.........when I get on an airplane, I'm a little closer to the sun, but it's all relative Darron.

THERE's the Brewers we know and love! Men on the corners with one out, and we totally fail to make contact of any kind!

I'm not saying that there's a big difference between 10-4 and 10-5, but I think getting one more run in that inning would have been a pretty big boost, at least IMO.

Branyan has 61 At bats. He's struck out 29 times. I mean, wow.

I know K's are no worse than any other out, but he is totally flailing tonight, and it really hurt us just now.

Bill Schroeder is an idiot. Should Aramis Ramirez, who has a bad groin injury, run as hard as he can on routine popups to the infield? Is that "hustle" worth losing him for an extended period because of a reaggravation to the injury? Have you not noticed lately, Mr. Schroeder, that Ramirez has been running very gingerly the last several series?

That just irritates me. Yeah, if you're healthy it would be nice if you ran out a popup. But really, who cares? They fall about once every month or two, and if there's a concern about injury, then why take the risk?

Man, the D is looking awesome tonight.

That's a pretty cheap error to give to Hall. I know he took a swipe at it, but it looked like that was a last minute thing as Overbay bailed on it.

Phelps has to be PISSED right now. He has a hard enough time getting guys out, and he's got 3 guys OUT, yet there's 2 men on, and only ONE out on the scoreboard.

Phelps doesn't throw real hard, but he's got some nice breaking pitches. I don't know if he throws a curveball and a slider or if it is just variations of the same pitch, but he can either make it break real sharply or loop it slower and let it drop.

Nice job getting out of that inning despite the poor defense.

It is interesting to see Matt Clement still pitching, but I would guess it's because their long-man (Glendon Rusch) is unavailable after making a spot start for Kerry "Umpires Bad, Suspensions Good, Temper Not Controlled" Wood. Still, you'd think they'd have someone who could reliably pitch two or three innings without giving up more than two or three runs so that Clement would get a bit of a break.

Are they still playing and people are watching? It was an early exit for me tonight after the Lee GS and a 7-0 lead. Mark another L in the book for the crew.

Can imagine the score now.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh.....Ben Grieve

The Forgotten Brewer

How long is his knee expected to hinder his ability to play in the field?

(I think I just made a funny! Ben Grieve........play the field! HA!)
