Keep me informed guys. I refuse to turn the TV on because the few times I had it on tonight, bad things would happen. No TV or radio for me. I'm living thru you guys and an occasional Yahoo game update.

Yeah, he said that.

ALl we need to do is keep the Cubs from scoring til Branyan gets another AB, and this baby is over.

I'll tell ya what, if Branyan hits a walk off, I'll crap myself!

So you're Wes Helms, and you're sitting on the bench. Your team needs a pinch-hitter, so your best friend and manager turns to... Trent Durrington.

How does that feel?

Is he now above or below Magruder on the depth chart? How 'bout Bennett? Obermueller?

You know that Cracker song, "Low"? That's about where Wes is right now.

In all reality, I see no reason why Helms shouldn't be one of the first PHers off the bench, given how he's hitting lately.

But he never gets to start at 3rd again!

I was flipping between ESPN's game and Baseball Tonight hoping to hear the organ music followed by a Brewer highlight. C'mon guys, make it happen!

Overbay is due for a double.

EDIT: Just not right this second I guess.

Darn. Great at-bat by Podzilla, though, and a fantastic game. The way he was old-man-slapping those pitches from the southpaw was beautifully reminiscent of 2003.

Now, who pitches the next half inning for the Crew? Kolb again? Adams? Phelps? Hopefully not Jeff Bennett... or Wes Obermueller. That wouldn't be good.

EDIT: The Phelpster. He's gonna own the Cubs... they gots no chance.

Taking Kinney's number, though? I don't know about that.
