It's so weird to have someone that hits homers on a regular basis. I forgot what that even feels like.

Okay, I know Branyan is all or nothing, I know he Ks too much, and I know he isn't nearly as good as he has played so far for the Brewers, but.....

 

he sure can hit the ball a long way. He's the one guy who's at bat I don't want to miss because he might hit one 5 miles.

Sheets is not keeping the ball down enough. Anyway, Nomar is having a great game. It makes me SICK that the Brewers never acquire guys like that. That's why this franchise continues to stink.

Yes, it's a shame that we don't go for people that are asking for HALF of our ENTIRE payroll.

 

edit: I'm sure you're more lamenting the fact that $15M is half of our payroll, but not much is going to change that. There are plenty of players cheaper than Nomar who would help us just as much.
