Hot damn Branyan is the man, a far superior hitter and fielder than Wes Helms I hope Branyan stays the starter the rest of the year. Also Props to Overbay, awesome homer to right. The way Overbay is going he could have a season with an over .300 BA, 20+ HR, and 100 RBI, pretty damn good for a guy that was just supposed to keep first warm till Prince gets called up. With the way Lyle is playing I wouldn't rush Fielder one bit to the bigs.

My God, would Schroeder shut up already. He keeps saying how Gary Bennett will feel great after today's good game he's calling for Wes. Last time I checked, Wes has discretion over what he wants to throw and it's really up to Wes and if his pitches are on or off today. I can't stand how Schroeder keeps talking about Bennett and every other catcher like he's a real star. Bennett sucks and so does Schroeder's analysis of catchers. You guys were all right.

I dont know if anyone noticed after Russell went yard he came back to the bench and after he put his helmet away went over to Yost and tapped him on the should and said something like "how'd you like that" and yost just looked forward with the scowl of a 5 yr old being told they cant have a cookie..lol.
