Guys like him are a ticking time bomb,it's obvious this won't be the last idiotic tirade from Milton.Teams dont need a bunch of choir boys, but this cat is a bad seed.Like someone else said, imgine if Tracy hadnt been there, looked to me like the ump was gonna get a right cross to the jaw.

Nice error by Roberts to score an extra run...betcha that wouldn't have happened had the sure-gloved Bradley been out in CF http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Clutch. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

You know that was the baseball gods getting back at LA for Bradley's outburst.

...anyone else wondering if Milton Bradley would have overrun Grieve's ball?

Can't think of a better way for this game to turn. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

(Now they've just gotta finish the job!)

I really think the ump didn't toss Weaver because he wasn't sure he could get out of the mess he was creating (115+ pitches, gang of lefties coming up). Otherwise why have the warning, that pitch looked exactly where Weaver wanted it.

wow, Jenkins' ball just inside the line. Anyone notice how many of those we've had JUST foul lately? I think each time Overbay and Jenkins came up last week with runners on, they would hit one that the announcers thought was a fair ball and was called foul. Then they'd strike out. Good to see one just stay fair. Come on boys, get hot.

I saw that too scoop. If Bennet's hitting 102, we need to figure out what he drank before the game!

And yeah, this game MIGHT (stress: maybe) be what our offense needs to get it rolling a bit.

So who gets the call in the eighth? Vizco? Adams?

Errr... I meant Bennett again.

Bennett for a second inning? Hmm. You'd think that if a team had 13 pitchers they could find someone to bridge the gap between the 7th and 9th innings.

I think Nedley's trying to save everyone for another Johnny Wholestaff start tomorrow. That whipper snapper Ben Hendrickson just isn't gritty enough to go out there and battle yet.

Hopefully not, though, and he just thinks Bennett is throwing well.

So when exactly did Bennett give Yost his sign that he was done? When he gave up the single to Roberts(Roberts!?!), or when he starts the next hitter off 3-0?

Here's the AP's take on the pre-sixth inning fun:

Quote:
Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Milton Bradley was ejected by plate umpire Terry Craft moments after coming to bat in the sixth inning of Tuesday night's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The tempestuous Bradley was immediately ejected after he stepped into the batter's box and said something to Craft.

Back in the lineup after missing two games with an injured left ankle, Bradley had to be restrained by manager Jim Tracy.

He then removed his batting gloves and placed them with his helmet and bat near home plate, raised his hands over his head and went back to the dugout.

Once in the dugout, Bradley grabbed a ball bag and emptied and its contents on the field before throwing the bag. He then threw a ball to the warning track in left field.

While the batboys picked up the balls, Tracy was ejected by second base umpire Joe West -- who one night earlier called a costly balk against Odalis Perez.

Play was held up for several more minutes while stadium personnel cleaned up the debris that fans threw onto the field from the left-field pavilion.

Kinda funny... just the facts, 'mam.

It's crazy how well the Brewers position their defenders. You gotta love the fusion of technology and scouting.

C'mon, toolshed.

Bill and Daron totally missed the double-switch when Bennett came into the game to pitch and Clark went to right. What's up with that? Pay attention to the game, gentlemen.

Clark came in when Bennett relieved Davis. It was a double-switch. Kieschnick is batting third in the order, where Grieve originally hit.

Not that our illustrious broadcast crew would know that, or anything.
