I agree, in years past we are already out of it, this year were tied for first with 2 months to go. Not bad. Come Cappy get it done today. I like that lineup a lot. Its a day game and Yost is going for it, thats good.

I hope the following happens today...

 

1) Cappy gets his first win against the Mets and breaks the streak

2) The Mets keep their pitcher in for at least 6-7 innings, though he gets shellaced (save your bullpen for the weekend Mets!)

3) Kyle Lohse pitches a great game.

Solid line-up. I kinda figured, though, we'd get Counsell at 2B with a Righty on the mound? Ned must really like the way Graff is swinging the bat. Can't argue with that I guess. Would have been nice to see Dillon. Betcha he starts on Sunday.

Prince, that thing you have in your hand is a bat. You swing it when you want to hit the ball the pitcher is throwing. Those pitches didn't look that far out of the strike zone, strike 2 and 3 were the same pitch. If one is called for a strike the second will probably be called too.

 

Sheesh, I want to pull my hair out after that first inning.

Those last two pitches didnt look all that close on gameday, of course gameday has been known to be wrong

Everyone that was hitting and pitching so good during our good stretch all of a sudden sucks (I am looking at you Hardy, Jenkins, Suppan, Capuano, etc)
