Its the 3rd inning? I was just making a point that many people on this board seem to freak out at the first sign of trouble... The Brewers are in the middle of a pennant race no? They must be doing something right?

The only problem with that statement (unfortunately) is their contracts. I love baseball, but you really have to like football's non-guaranteed contracts. Even with signing bonuses, it would be so much easier to deal with non-performing players in MLB.

Get real - they may only be down 2 runs, but you have to admit the pitching has been so awful thus far that it's easy to at least vent a little bit! I agree that they could still easily win this game, but it's just natural to be sick with the pitching thus far.

I think the reason many are upset is that we've already scored enough to win two or three times against this team, yet we're down two. I don't see the half-full glass of a team in the hunt as much as I see a team that for all its talent should be a bit better.

Wow...Cubs took out Sean Marshall for a pinch hitter in the top of the 7th despite Marshall only allowing 1 run on 2 hits.
