I don't know, most people wouldn't be able to recognize him from most angles these days.

Was this person in a group or a solo performer?

I knew I should have clarified the wording on that since I knew that was the answer...I should have asked what he was more famous for

 

Just looking at his age and that hat and the singer-songwriter-with-a-guitar look and with the clues I keep wanting to say Robyn Hitchcock but Hitchcock is way too WASP-y to be this dude

That's not Clapton...is it? I know it doesn't really look a whole lot like him...but odd angle, just a guess.

 

edit: Ok, nevermind...as I look back on the previous "Google won't save you" answers..it's not going to be someone like Clapton or Elvis Costello (which was my next guess).
