Explanation of our Road Woes? (Merged: Final Road Record: 32-49)

Cordero had I think it was 6 blown saves on the road, so that alone accounts for half of it since teams in general do play worse on the road. Bush cannot pitch on the road either, he's been terrible on the road for 2 years straight now.

The team is a low OBP team with very high SLG and that tends to be a skillset that suffers in pitching parks which probably had something to do with it as well.

I know teams don"t play well on the road but 17 games under 500 i crazy. I just don"t undersatnd what is with this team is thinking on the road.

But they really need to look at why. This record is the biggest reason why this team could not win the Division.

How many years has it been since we have swept anyone on the road, even a bad team? You would think just by dumb luck it would happen at least once a year.

When was the last time we swept on the road?

Looks like the last two-game sweep was April 4-5, 2005, at Pittsburgh, and the last three-game sweep was June 29-July 1, 2004, at Colorado.

I've locked the thread above so we can keep discussion in one place.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
