24 Season 7 (Spoiler Alert)

I don't know if anyone has seen this but for a 24 fan, like myself, it is amazing. Just hope the writers strike doesn't mess up the season too much. I can take a short break but hopefully no cliff hangers. Oh yeah and if you haven't seen anything for season 7 yet and don't want to see a MAJOR (arguably biggest in 24 history) spoiler for the new season don't watch the trailer.

Have to love the Red from That 70s show making an appearance. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Nice that the setting is finally in a different venue other than LA. And yes, that is a MAJOR twist/spoiler.

I dunno, I'm still not sold on the idea of him as a bad guy.

edit: To be clear, I don't mean Jack, I just don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen the trailer.

Who says he is the bad guy?

I know that "his" name hasn't been revealed yet, but for people that don't want to know anything too specific, there should maybe be a "spoiler alert" on the subject line for this thread.

Anyway, I am a huge fan and eagerly waiting for this season to start. I, like most fans, was quite disappointed in last year's season. It was good, but the final 4-5 episodes seemed to drag. Once the initial bad guy was caught, had the season ended there, I think it would have been better. The final Audrey plotline was a little too hokey and forced for my liking. I have to believe this season will be better. I can't wait!

Knowing 24, the guy who looks like the bad guy won't be the bad guy. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Going outside of CTU is a welcome change, and I hope they stay outside of CTU. Bauer was interesting in the past because he didn't need them - the fact that they were all involved in the show the past few seasons was distracting at the least.

I think Toby's point is that even if he's truly the bad guy at the beginning, that doesn't necessarily mean it will stay that way after the umpteen plot twists throughout the season.

If it's an evil twin that will be the end of a lot of people watching 24. I'd probably still watch because I'm a sucker but I know a lot of people would not watch again. That would be the biggest jump the shark moment perhaps since the original jumping of the shark.
