NFL investigates the Packers

According to MJS, the NFL is investigating whether Packers players violated league rules (also known as cheating) when they seemingly offered incentives between each other for game performances. I personally don't see the big deal, but wondered what some thoughts were on the perception it may create locally and nationally about the organization.

I haven't been following the NFL too closely this year, but is this about stuff like quarterbacks offering to buy the offensive line dinner if they don't allow any sacks? I don't see whats wrong with that. No Fun League amirite!

Yeah this is pretty much a joke. I would be willing to bet virtually every team does this. NFL is getting a little bit insane about all these minor violations they are fining people for. I guess they need to find someway to fund the huge pensions for their retirees. Because they sure aren't making enough money off of their current players to help the retired guys out who made them all rich in the first place. Jokers. I love the NFL and all but the league still has its faults.

it relates to players more or less having a bounty to keep Adrian Peterson under 100. I would imagine the injury and the way Al Harris tackled him peaked the interest of the league.
