Anyone know how to write fairly simple JavaScript?

I need some help with a program (a lot of help). It's for a class that I thought would be a blow off class with nothing to do with my major, now i'm stuck writing these programs in JavaScript and I am not very good at it.

Sorry, I don't know any Java. I did learn Basic in like 3rd grade - let me know if you need help with that.

Yeah, feel free to ask questions, but asking someone to do your work for you isn't exactly what we're here for.

Yes ECMAScript does not Java make.

 

But, you can do just about anything with DOM scripting that you'd like and find a tutorial - try google.

Thankfully I have not touched Java since grad school... and I really haven't programmed in over a year now.
