MINOR LEAGUERS IN THE SPRING

I was just reviewing the spring stats: Irribarren .429 2 HR 12 RBI in 28 at bats....Braun .458 4HR 11 RBI in 25 at bats....What is up with Hernan!? 3 for 4 yesterday from the lead off slot....am I seeing things that really didn't happen?

Yost mentioned that Irribarren has been the most improved player between last spring and this spring.

I watched the Hurricane closely for the last 4-5 days in spring training. I was really impressed. I think he's a solid emergency backup if (god forbid) Weeks goes down with something long term. His bat looked good and he seemed really comfortable on defense. His foot work looked solid and he was judging balls really well (which I can?t say was true for some of the other infielders.)

 

I?m excited for him to have a big year. A year of solid numbers at AAA would really increase his organizational and trade value.
