  1. No. Disappointed. Been trending that way for about 5 years. You're upset during the season where they're a franchise high games over .500 with the horses to win the WS. Well okay then; nice to know I can ignore you and your laughable takes.
  2. And they sound so similar to me. I really like listening to their back-and-forth.
  3. I was thinking that today, too. He could get hot the last month and carry us in the playoffs and all the regular season struggles will be more than forgotten (from my standpoint).
  4. Same. Getting up at 5 am central time for work makes these games a two or three inning affair at best.
  5. Not watching or even listening tonight, is Adames able to come off the bench?
  6. Since May 20th they've played just 4 games under. They started the season really bad and never recovered. They're not great by any stretch, but they're gonna beat some teams. 6th in the AL in runs. 2nd in homeruns. (of course minus Nelson Cruz now) Butt pitching has been their big problem. This is a problem for a lot of folks.
  7. It was Rock thought it was too close to take, but Rock believes 90% of pitches are strikes no matter where they are. I can just hear it. "Borderline, but too close to take with two strikes."
  8. I think the NL East is still a 3-team race but it is looking really bad for the Mets right now. In the end I think it will be the Braves but I don't believe they will have that big of a cushion. I think that division goes all the way to the last couple of days before it is decided. Schedule looks to be about even for the Braves and Phillies in September. As the sun rises in the East, the Mets falter down the stretch.
  9. They had a chance to blow the game open in the 4th but left the bases loaded. Loaded with 1 out and Yelich was called out on strikes.
  10. Tough lineup, but hopefully Burnes can have a couple of quick innings.
  11. I'm following online, but what the hell was Yelich doing?
  12. They need to get him going and giving him more at bats seems to be their strategy. I'm okay with this, despite his struggles. They've been trying to get him going for a year and a half. At some point you have to do what's best for the team. They seem to be winning a few games, despite his struggles.
  13. They need to get him going and giving him more at bats seems to be their strategy. I'm okay with this, despite his struggles.
  14. I'm really not used to games starting at 1:30. Got to the tavern a bit early.
