Yeah, I haven't forgotten; I was close, so thank you.

I would think Urias' bat would improve with experience but also playing half his games in Miller Park.
  3. yfinn6
Least surprising take of the whole thread.

I mean it sounds stupid but I could see the name Brewers being dropped at some point for being not socially acceptable or something like that. Not right now, but some day. Brewing beer isn't socially acceptable?!

I know the Nats' bullpen isn't good, but I'm a bit surprised Corbin is still out in the 5th. You can't let these guys hang around.

I wish TBS would show the batter, the order they're in, and MPH on the pitch. It's nice to flip back the game here and there and know where they're at in the lineup, etc.

    "Act like you've been there."

I'm still amazed at how many people forget that Kotsay hit a home run that day and walked in 2 of his other 3 plate appearances. He had the highest offensive Win Probability Added of any position player on either team that day. He also badly misplayed a ball in CF that either led to runs or led to a big inning that eventually won the game for the Cardinals.

Got a lead. Beautiful swing from Grandal.

    Regression to the mean.

Lol Yeah, this one made me chuckle. I do like Grisham in the leadoff spot.

Carpenter goes deep off Kimbrel. Lol.

Best case scenario here (for me) is this game going extras and the Cards beating the Cubs. I'm thinking 15 or 16 innings would be nice.

There's Smoltz again, complaining about "teams finding loopholes" in lineups because rosters expanded. I'm about 99.9% certain rosters expanded to 40 when he played. I'm way over that dude and his whining about how the game is played.

Are people really calling him terrible?
  16. yfinn6
Why is the Ump going after Counsell after he was walking back?
  17. yfinn6
He did not look comfortable catching that flyball (Spangenberg).

Really like this lineup, even without Yelich. I also really hope that Braun can play some 1B next season, but that's another thread. And yes, I know Counsell knows this lineup and team like a bazillion times more than me.

You... Lenny.. will have saved the lives of millions of registered voters.

    Stay hot, Spangenberg.
  21. yfinn6
We always talk about losses that will come back to bite the Brewers in the butt during the season, this is definitely one of those wins we can point to. Huge game today and nice to see Braun with the big hit.

    Hulu here. Also delayed.

    Thanks for that gift out!
  25. yfinn6
Really? He's going to pull him out now?
