I think they're in a perfect spot to allow a few guys some rest and a break to deal with personal stuff. The lineup is still tough and the arms are still there.

Cubs are calling up Owen Cassie. He's Canadian, making his debut in Toronto (I would assume at least he'll make his debut), which is kinda cool.

I was watching both games tonight (Brewers and Cubs) and have tried to watch the Cubs more lately when I am able. I don't know, but that whole team looks completely disinterested in playing baseball. They might mentally just be done. They're plenty capable of making a run and they're still having a good season and have time to get things turned around but I don't know how that happens.

Yep. Ump has really been bad. His score card is going to favor the Brewers by quite a bit, unless he evens it out, in which case... crap.

Yeah this kind of struck me, too. I know he's not hitting against lefties but the whole vibe with him from tonight vs other of these interviews that ESPN does felt different. Not great body language from him.
