Yeah.. I know better than to question when you'd throw something like that out. It's still just surprising to me with some of the bats they have there but maybe the cupboard is more bare than I thought.

So the Mets PH for Matz after Claudio comes in, right? The way Barnes was throwing, I'd almost rather have him face a LH pinch hitter than Claudio facing a RH pitch hitter, especially after last night. This seems like over-managing to me. Of course now Claudio gives up a solid single.

Augilar is a mess. Takes two good pitches to hit then flails at a terrible pitch. When is the last time he took a walk? Seems like he walked at a decent clip last year.

Braun was trying to catch an Alonso hit ball near the wall and a fan dumped a beer on him while he was going for it. The liquid hit him in two separate splashes of beer, the first was smaller and the second soaked him. Braun pointed to it has he went for the ball he missed, and Alonso ended up with a “triple” that was then upheld after a review. Here is a photo.... This Buds for you, Ryan.
