My favorite part was Cain slapping d'Arnaud‘s chest protector as he rounded third base. It's been a while since I've seen a throw so unnecessary as that throw by Alonso. The fielder he threw the ball to was further away from 2nd base than Cain was. Strike 'em out throw 'em out. Beautiful.

Right. We haven't played well, against an extremely difficult schedule & will still have a winning record after tonight's game no matter what happens. That's a good thing. A better thing would be to be playing better & have a better record, sure. But with how we've bern playing & who we've been playing, our record could be a whole lot worse. That it isn't is good. Unless you'd prefer us to have an even worse record? No, but I am concerned that some of our projections were just too optimistic. Braun might be done. Aguilar might be a 1 year wonder. We just might have expected too much from our young pitchers. But he's had a pretty good week!

I like that it really set up the next episode for things to go down. The scene you alluded to was a bit creepy, if I'm being honest. I'm also somewhat certain there was a body double in for the woman in question. Anywho, I can see why people liked it and it was good, I was just hoping for something more. Not sure what.

Was the GOT episode last night good? Just trying to ling up options for when the bullpen blows it. Some people really seemed to like it.; I thought it was OK. I mean, it's good but not necessarily my favorite episode.

I'd say he's made some borderline calls that have been outside but he's been fair to both teams so I don't really have a problem with it.

PdL has left a lot of pitches up in the zone. You know this team isn't hitting very well when they're missing so many hittable pitches. Aside from Yelich, maybe a few others, it's really been the case all season (so it seems).

I don't feel like I'm exaggerating here when I say that over the course of the past week, I've seen Travis Shaw swing right through about two dozen very hittable pitches. So hittable that the moment they left the pitchers' hands I saw Shaw gearing up as if he was going to knock it into the 2nd deck. Whiff.
