  1. I wondered about it, too, especially with Davies' spot coming up this inning. You'd think he might give him a hitter or two to see if he can go through the 6th.
  2. Pina is 2-2, including a solid single to right, and he bunts? Meh. Ok. And playing for one run squanders that inning.
  3. He ok? Just watching on Gameday . Yeah. He caught one flush in a bad area.
  4. Man, they're really worried about Piscotty stealing 2nd here.
  5. Looked like Broxton landed rough, but good catch. He had a long ways to go.
  6. Nice Villar. That was crushed. I had a good feeling about this inning after Davies' hit.
  7. We should make it darker in there when the Braves come in 2018. Maybe introduce a "glow baseball" .. like the bowling alley. Bill Veeck approved.
  8. Freddie Freeman thinks Miller Park is "a little league field": "I think it's a bad-lit Little League field," Freeman said, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution. "I can't see anything here." LINK: http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/19278109/freddie-freeman-atlanta-braves-calls-milwaukee-brewers-miller-park-bad-lit-little-league-field For being poorly lit, he and the rest of his team sure are hitting the ball well. He might be the only one I've ever heard complain about hitting at Miller Park.
  9. That's what I mean. We finally will be able to have a lot of arms to throw at the MLB team; some will stick and some won't, some will go to bullpen roles after not making it as starters and hopefully we have at least some mid-to-top rotation guys out of the whole group. Granted, it's not going to happen in one season but really -- the pitching sucks. It annoys the crap out of me but at this point it almost feels like "it is what it is" until we have guys that are for sure ready to be out of the minors and in the majors.
  10. Good year to figure out what we have, or in most cases: don't have, in this year's pitchers. Gotta think there will be some changes in due time.
  11. Well, not sure the Brewers have more than four more runs in them tonight to win this thing unless they start getting more to hit from Garcia. Poop.
  12. That 1-2 to Shaw was a strike. Pathetic pitching by this bullpen lately. Bunch of bums out there.
  13. "Brewers bats went quiet" - but they already put up 8 runs. That should be enough to win the game.
  14. I agree. Rebuilding year or not, it's one thing to lose games, it's another to not give a crap when the reason you're losing is so blatant. Just a bit of pitching is what they need to at least stay competitive. Maybe we don't want that, but at this point I'd rather start winning if we're not far off (which I think we aren't).
  15. Great, so the Brewers will lose this game after leading for most of it because this bullpen is so putrid. I guess if we're going for another high draft pick, this is really the way to lose the game but damn it's frustrating.
  16. Keon gives me hope that he's snapping out, and then he has an at-bat like he had in the bottom of the 7th where he seemed completely lost.
  17. Nice to light-up Motte, too bad we're so late beating up on this guy. Man, that had some serious speed coming off the bat from Santana.
  18. Looks like I'm the loser tonight. 3-run bomb by Arcia, with another opposite field shot, this time with more authority. Great to see.
