  1. Anderson looks rough so far, gonna need some production off Arrieta today.
  2. I agree with all of this. I want to win, and I think this team is good but I think we can be better just by promoting from within and cycling-in performing players. I don't think the time is right to sell off pieces just yet (in 2017).
  3. Do you think the Brewers will option Arcia in favor of Sogard?!
  4. If I'm home, I'll have the game on and usually posting in the chat when I get annoyed. Unless it's a playoff game or a game where a top prospect would make their debut, I wouldn't turn down an offer to hang out with friends in favor of the Brewer game. I probably watch a few games a week, some weeks I'll see all the games and other weeks I won't see any. When I don't see the games for a few days I feel WAY out of the loop.
  5. It's mind boggling to me how many times you hear of crazy behavior before drafts in any major sport.
  6. It's going to be highway robbery (again) when the Brewers trade him for some nice players and his arm falls off before he can pitch much for them.
  7. Good start to walk the leadoff hitter when you have a 5-run lead.
  8. I don't care that it's 9-4, I hate that he got picked off.
  9. I mean you'd still like to see him get that OPS up in the. 700 range or so. But he'll be fine IMO. Right, and a lot of people said as much who "were concerned", but the dude is also young. I'm not sure what some posters were expecting. He frustrates me with some of his lollipop throws to 1st base but everything else has me really encouraged. It's nice his bat is coming around, too. Edit - I also love how runners are ignoring Sedar. I'm not being sarcastic, either.
  10. Has the worry about Arcia's bat subsided a bit? I'd say so. I thought people jumped the gun with that.
  11. Game is back on and the fans next to the microphone are hilariously drunk. I heard an mmmbop reference.
  12. Is it just me, or is Augie sportin' some serious orange-glow on his face?
  13. I guess Santana was content not to take his bat off the shoulder in that at-bat. Did he swing even once in those 7 pitches?
  14. Broxton coming to life. Correction, I see he's been improving for a while. Came to life.
  15. Wait.. he's staying in the game?! He could hardly walk without limping. Well, I can't blame Franklin. If he comes out of the game he might not get another chance.
  16. Something tells me that Piscotty's ball staying IN the field will be the difference in the game. Yep, as in it wouldn't have made a difference at all. 2-0 now. Feels like the Crew is gonna get shutout by Martinez tonight.
  17. We're 14-13, who do these guys think they are?! How about a series of fines for good play? Maybe we can take the team plane away -- make 'em take an old bus from city-to-city.
  18. What did Perez do? Not understanding here... He means Feliz. Thankfully no serious contact there. Good win, these aren't going to be easy unless we're playing the Reds.
  19. I had a feeling Shaw was going to do that, to the point that I had LePay's call in my head as Shaw got into the box. Crazy. I watch too many games.
  20. So which Cardinal is going to get the walkoff hit tonight?
