Why would I expect Segura to get on base?
-
It's just not in the cards today (so it seems). I would be happy to be proven wrong.
-
Great play, Logan. lol
-
Logan still should have thrown the ball in.
-
I'm going to be glad when Brandon Phillips is no longer playing, just so he will stop robbing the Brewers of base hits. Man that guy is good.
-
Classic GoGo...swinging at the first pitch and getting himself out. It's starting to annoy me, even more so when the offense is - at the moment - stagnant.
-
Ugh, C'mon Yo.

Cubs Trade Samardzija and Hammel to Oakland A's
yfinn6 replied to Eye Black's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Aren't the Cubs in need of pitching? How many SS's do they need? Not trying to be sarcastic, just thought they were lacking potential impact arms in their minor league ranks. -
"The Brewers are hoping command will be an issue" so Bianchi swings at what, the first pitch? Yeah... patience is not this team's forte.
-
The camera guy gets an F- for this game tonight.
-
Segura with a rocket into the hole.. we're on the scoreboard!! Oh boy, I can't wait to get close and see Kintzler give up some bombs. (Sorry for the pessimism, folks)
-
That hanger from Kintzler still angers me. The situation, the pitch selection, how bad a pitch it really was, etc.. awful.
-
Lyle is just having himself a hell of a game.
-
Three runs feels like a very large deficit tonight despite the game being in Cincinnati. We'll see.
-
Great job Lyle
-
I could be wrong, but I don't remember Bianchi being as bad offensively as he has been this year. It's just hard to find utility guys that only play sparingly who are good enough to still be effective offensive players. Sort of why I wish the Brewers would go after Zobrist as he's pretty versatile.

I hated watching Herrera 'play' outfield more than I hate seeing Schaffer bat.. at least that's how I break it down. I pretty much have more hope for Lohse to get a hit than I would Schaffer. Sad.
-
Good inning for Lohse.. wow.
-
Thanks for catching that ball, Herrera.

I've figured out who John Gibbons reminds me of: http://southparkstudios.mtvnimages.com/shared/characters/adults/officer-barbrady.jpg

Lots of hacking at 1st pitches.. not that I particularly care except when they result in weak grounders and lazy pop ups.
-
Good grief, another HR by Bautista.
-
Overbay definitely had some pitches to hit in that at-bat. That sucks.
-
Well, they got their swinging sticks today. Everything must look good up there.
-
Bautista got all of that one.
