  1. Wow, I thought for sure he was going to get rung-up there.
  2. Both of these teams are squaring the ball up. Not sure I can remember a game where both teams hit the ball this hard this consistently.
  3. I'd blame this more on Melvin for having a utility infielder being your only backup outfielder on your 25 man roster. Absolutely in agreement. We know how much Melvin likes his middle infielders. OK, Scooter tee'ed off on that one, and did anyone else hear that fan heckling Braun during Scooter's at-bat?
  4. Isn't he an infielder by trade, seem to remember a diving stab at 3rd earlier this year that was pretty impressive. He's versatile.
  5. Good job, Herrera. Only took 1 inning for your inexperience to show; just really happy that he's on the MLB roster.
  6. Welp, might be a good night to tackle my bathroom remodel.
  7. The card says Wooten gets the 8th when down a run. Only took him giving up 3 runs to get him out of the game. Meanwhile, the bases are still loaded and he is still waiting to record an out. Great job, Rob!
  8. It looks like Braun just isn't 100%. He's not immune to a slump, and I don't know whether he's in one or not, but to me - it looks like he's just not swinging the bat with authority (or confidence). I'm more concerned about Segura.
  9. I would love to see Segura stop reaching for the ball and rolling everything over. Maybe a few line drives here and there would make me feel better about what he's doing at the plate.
  10. Way to help yourself, Marco. I was sort of questioning why he was hitting here but it worked out.
  11. Marco tried to give up the leadoff HR last week in NY, but the park was just too big. He accomplished that today. Well done, Marco!
  12. Schafer needs at-bats. Herrera? I am so excited to watch him play the outfield again.
  13. A loss is a loss; they're all frustrating and disappointing. Loved seeing the comeback tonight but hated seeing K-Rod give up that run in the 9th as it was basically the kiss of death against Chapman. Hopefully that's the last time the Brewers have to see him this weekend. I also didn't care for him buzzing Lucroy the way he did. With his speed, up and in is extremely dangerous.
  14. I would imagine that Segura will PH and if necessary, Falu would move to second base if it got to that point. Well at least we kept it at one. Alright, bloop and a blast and let's go home winners. I'm positive I was at a game in the last year or two where Lucroy hit a 2 run walkoff bomb off of Chapman.... You are correct about Segura.
  15. Gennett facing Chapman should be funny. Get out of this inning now.
