These Stein's commercials are wretched. Ugh. One always follows the other, too.
-
Wow. WOW! Gomez!!
-
Great at bat, Ryan.
-
C'mon Brauny. Just a hit. Or a sac fly.

Even though this game is likely lost for the Mets, I guess... well nevermind, Torres is out. It's been a while since I've seen Eveland in a game.
-
They still have Dana Eveland! Torres' arm has to be shot. I almost feel bad for him.
-
Man that was nice. Whew.
-
Braun with an absolute missile for a hit!
-
Awesome inning.
-
C'mon guys, bust this thing open and get it over with.
-
Great bounce-back Kintzler. And nice job Recker getting tossed from the game.
-
Good start Brandon. Cripes.
-
Ugly offensive game tonight - really by both teams.
-
C'mon Kintzler.
-
Well that made up for it.
-
What the hell was that Gomez? You obviously weren't going to catch it, just field it and hold him at 1.
-
That is the best play that Rickie will make all year.

He looks like he should be just going into high school. I guess I am officially getting old. Welcome aboard, Troy. -

Manny Machado Only Suspended 5 Games
yfinn6 replied to TwinsBrewersWorldSeries's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
If it was an accident, don't you think he would have been surprised his follow through hit the catcher? That's my main question with it. No doubt it's difficult to just plan to hit the catcher like that, and you're potentially giving up two at bats, but you just never see a player hit a catcher (inadvertently) and not have a reaction of concern or surprise that it happened. Machado had neither - twice. -
I see Segura is in the midst of one of his "I'm hacking at everything" slumps.
-
It's almost like Estrada is trying to pitch his way off the team. Walks the bases loaded and gives up a HR to a bum. Classic.

2014 Draft Pick Discussion, Rounds 1-5
yfinn6 replied to 1992casey's topic in MLB Draft & International Signings
Is it just me, or are there a lot of signings in the first few days after the draft? Maybe I haven't followed it that closely in the past (usually I was working in areas with no internet in the summer ... so I sort of have an excuse). Also, just wanted to say thanks to all the BF posters who have contributed all the information of these prospects. It makes someone, like myself, who is pretty ignorant to all things draft/minor league something to read and look forward to. Again, thank you.
