Can Hunter Morris really not provide as much offense as Overbay at this point? At least give the kid a chance; aside from pitching in mop-up duty, Overbay adds nothing at this point.

Another positional player pitching for the Brewers. Hell, Overbay (or Maldonado) might have been more effective than Wang from the start of the inning if RR was so worried about Smith and Thornburg.

What is Kranitz going to say? Wang doesn't speak any English. Even if Wang could be a great MLB pitcher, his confidence has to be down the toilet.

Is there a precedent for this? Have other major league teams ever wasted a roster spot on an A-ball player for an entire year just to try and hold on to them and hope they realize some potential? Seems asinine. The Brewers have done it in the past, but in those seasons, the team expected to lost 100 games. I believe Jeff Bennett was a rule-5 pick.
