Pedro Alvarez is disappointed that he can't tuck his ears into his batting helmet.

Man he had 2 great pitches to hit and missed them both, then just went ahead and hacked at the 3rd pitch for good measure. Must be a hole in his bat.

If RR gets Wang into this game..... wow that was a hell of a double play. If RR gets Wang into this game when it's tied or so close and it goes south on the Brewers, he should absolutely have to answer to why Wang wasn't into one of the blowouts.

When a left-handed batter is up, I thought it was usually the SS who covers 2nd on a steal attempt? Scooter was covering and left that side of the infield wide open. Ugh.

While this is true, it's still a big mistake by Davis. Marte has a great arm but his momentum wasn't carrying him directly toward home, it was more toward 1B. He'd have to turn his body slightly and get off an absolute perfect throw to get Davis. While no guarantee that he would have scored, I would have liked his chances and that's a play that you'd tag up on 99% of the time. Davis goofed; it is what it is.
