  1. Bill was thinking about his last at bat I think when that ball got to him.
  2. "Forget the curveball Rickie, give 'em the heater!" Sorry, when I saw Major League I couldn't resist.
  3. On second thought, or glance, I'm not sure that I think Trenni is as hot as I originally thought. Now with that being said, she's 100 kagillion times better than Ann Skeletor Carroll.
  4. Wow Corey is so freakin' awesome.
  5. Well, that pretty much assures that Parra will lead off the next inning. That's great. -Edit, I guess that Parra is batting 9th today. My bad.
  6. Those guys over on Northsidebaseball.com sure are a funny bunch. I'm not laughing because of their attitudes after only 4 games, but just at the stuff they say. Good thread to read is the one titled: "If you had to trade a veteran who would it be." I was seriously laughing out loud at some of the posts.
  7. To add to what Brains and Braun said Rowand also has an injury that's been bothering him, that's what Brian said earlier in the broadcast. I'm sure some time off would do him some good.
  8. How about a Hardy homerun, heck even a single would be nice from him. Something solid anyways.
  9. Tough game for Braun, real tough game. He's looked a bit silly up there today.
  10. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif That's great, at least they have a sense of humor.
  11. That looked like a hanger, usually those don't fare very well.
  12. Oh heck yes another day game, I'm thrilled! I thought I was going to have to stay up really late to catch this one but this is perfect. Now my day has gotten a lot better!
  13. All is well. It's 2-2. No sweat. The ball hit at Hall was a rocket, if he fielded that it would have been one of the plays of the year. The ball hit to Braun maybe could have been caught, but playing LF when a left handed batter is up and he kills the ball is tough to play, the kind of play was bound to happen with Braun sooner or later. He came close but not quite. I think he'll get that in the future. Time to start over, we literally stole 2 runs from them, they worked their butts off for their 2. We'll get more!
  14. They do seem very aggressive so far this year don't they?
  15. I'm going to respectfully disagree with you. It looked like the ball went behind Weeks when he hit Soto. Soto was up the line a little bit. It wasn't going to be a close play.
  16. Not sure if you're trying to be sarcastic with that response, but then it really wasn't that close. It was a good throw from the distance in RF, but he's trying to throw out a really fast runner. Your throw has to be better than awesome to make it a play. That's the point I was trying to make.
  17. What was Fuku doing trying to throw Rickie out at home? I'm not sure even God could have thrown him out.
  18. God, freakin' Kendall is awesome.
  19. Alright, some of these freakin' pitches to Fukudome are pretty dang close. And because he bails like a wimp on everything it's not getting called.
  20. If you can't beat em, you might as well bean em.
  21. yeeeaahhh!!! I'll take a bases loaded = no runs scored if we can get out of a jam like that every time.
  22. Same here, but let's limit the runs to that. It's dangerous if the bullpen starts to walk guys because that wind is will still be blowing out... this game could be tied in a hurry.
  23. Cripes, hopefully the Cubs don't have any momentum. C'mon, bases loaded and no runs? What the piss is that all about.
  24. Well how about that walk off he hit against us last summer for starters...... I think it started before that, but that fueled it. I think it started when he charged Sheets a long time ago. That and I hate the way he plays the game, he plays it like it's such a hassle to play the field... or run the bases, especially after he hits a long one.
