    The only thing Ned can really say was that Verlander pitched a great game, anything else would be taking away from his accomplishment IMO. It would be disrespectful to say that his team just stunk, unless he did so in a way that was respectful first and foremost to Verlander.

    Not on FSN Wisconsin. As someone else said ESPN has the rights, I just remembered that. So no, no TV for tonight's game at all.

    Brett, I was saying "thanks Charter" for switching over to the Brewers game from the HS game. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Real nice at bat by Jenks. Those fastballs from McCarthy must have eyes on them or something, some of the Brewers seem to be swinging right through it.

    I wonder about Madison. I checked the listings on my Charter menu and it says it's on at 7:30. We'll see if this stupid high school game is over with, I know I'd much rather watch high school baseball players than the Brewers.

    In the Madison area, I just hit 26 to see if Brewers Live was on and it was an East-West high school baseball game. I hope this is going to be over by the 7:35 start time, it's in the 5th already. This game was supposed to be on FSN, right?

    I've never heard either of those two expressions, and frankly I'd be embarrassed if Badger fans started holding up a smug sign saying either of those two. Cub fans always think they are better than Brewer fans, and always think their team is better. So when they're team is clearly worse they have to come up with some stupid little saying to try to make themselves feel superior, only it makes them look more idiotic than they already are.

    Ballgame! There's a little bit left of my fingernails after this one, not sure I'll be able to watch the game tomorrow. Probably a good thing.

    Turnbow did NOT look happy when he was talking to Castro in the bullpen. I am watching the WGN feed just to get the game in a different perspective and it looked like Turnbow was pissed that he had to warm up and get ready only to sit back down. I can imagine that's frustrating for a relief pitcher.

    Thanks. We got the point in your previous post. Even if he's been grounding into DPs he's been hitting the ball right on the nose. That's encouraging.

    In 2005 in the second half he hit a homerun (a grand slam I believe) at Cincinnati. He hit it to right center. *Edit: If I am remembering correctly he may have even hit 2 HR that game. I remember catching the highlight on ESPN and the sports anchor said "Hardy just had the game of his life" or something close to that.

    Is it time to start worrying about all those baserunners we've left on so far? It's getting to be late in the game for Sheets, I've got a bad feeling. Please let me be wrong.

    0-2, with two outs, and a double down the line. Wow awesome play there JJ. Yes Bob, that was horrible baserunning by JJ. But I'm willing to take it easy on him since he was carrying the team on his back for a week or two week period this year.     Menace II Society. I saw that pretty much right when it came to the local Kwik Trip. They let young kids rent any movie they wanted. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif Anyway, I learned what swearing was real Kwik, err I mean quick. Sadly enough I was only about 8 or 9.

    The other day I was close to 320 posts, why am I at 314 again? I've had the same problem with buckyville. EZboard must be confused with how many boards you can post on or something.

    I haven't posted anything about this game yet. I was trying to hit some golf balls but the Bridges' DR was closed. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif But this was a great game to watch - the parts that I caught anyway - it was nice to see guys that had been struggling get in on the run production. Hardy and Fielder were a little quiet, but the rest of the team picked up the slack. Great to see. Hopefully this propels the team into another hot streak.
