  1. Have no fear. Tony Graffanino has entered the game. Alright Graffy, make me eat my words when you get your first at bat.
  2. Jeeze Corey. That would have been a nice way to end a potential rally.
  3. I was too. I wasn't expecting Vargas to get through the inning. Shows how much I know about baseball. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  4. Vargas at the bat here, now I'm hoping he doesn't give up 3 or 4 next inning because he's got nothing left in the tank. I'm not ripping on Yost here, because it's definitely not a situation where a pinch hitter should clearly be used. So let's go Vargas!
  5. Error number 149 for Estrada this season, throwing error that is.
  6. I knew that we would get to Obie early.... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif . Perhaps I should just be pessimistic all the time.
  7. Phew. Sigh of relief there. Down 3-0 would have been a big deficit. Plus we're facing Obermueller who will probably look like Cy Young tonight. The Brewers have a way of making mediocre pitchers look awesome - which we know all too well.
  8. Good start. The Marlins are 9-1 in their last 10. Maybe they will go on a losing streak too.
  9. Well, what else can I do with my night. Is there really a point to watch this game anymore? Doesn't matter if we're facing Smoltz or the local high school team, or so it seems at this point. I guess it's only the first inning, but sheesh.
  10. Atta way Prince! That was a sweet follow through/bat drop. Nothing like the Big Guy hitting a no doubter with a little bit of swagger.
  11. Weeks looks a little bit lost at the plate today.
  12. I like this lineup. Since I was gone all weekend - in Iowa of all places - I couldn't watch Braun's at bats. Can't wait to see him live.
  13. Way to go Jenks. Go for the curtain call! Woo hoo, as I type there it is.
  14. C'mon Jenks. It's up to you this inning. I'm sorry to be so negative, Brewers77 (I promise I'm a real fan!), but I have little faith in Miller/Graffanino/Counsell/Pitcher to drive in runs at this point.
  15. Score 2 runs, then give up some more. Argh.
  16. I can't remember a more disappointing stretch of baseball. Wait a minute, 2001-2004 come to mind. But this is just horrible, I think the promising start to the season has made this one a bit more tough to take. This trip to the west coast isn't going to get much better either.
  17. Dear Brewers, Wake up!! Best, Finn.
  18. I'm watching Brewers live just waiting for the game to come on, and Ann Carrol absolutely butchered the end of her "Armed Forces hat segment". It was painful.
  19. Dear Ned, Please, oh please, bat Tony Graffanino and Craig Counsell in the 7th and 8th spots respectively. Our pitcher - who's making his first career start - could really use 3 easy outs at the bottom of your lineup. Sincerely, Minnesota Twins Seriously, if I see those two chumps back to back again I might throw up.
  20. Pathetic display by this team tonight. Also, real glad we kept Graffy instead of Cirillo, if it was between Graff and Cirillo. Maybe I'm just frustrated with this team now, but it's real hard to watch them play.
  21. At least you went down swinging, Billy.
  22. Estrada really knocked the crap outta that one.
  23. Elmer Dessens is really good. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
