    What's going on? I can't follow it, my pop up blocker has blocked the mlb gamecast popup and I can't get it back, and espn gamecast isn't following it.

    This just smells trollish to me. But anywho, as already said this just wouldn't work. It doesn't make sense on both sides. There's no way the Brewers would take on Manny's salary, and would he even want to play here anyways? And the Red Sox would not be getting better, it's only the first two weeks of the season.. they are looking better than a lot of teams just solely on their pitching (if it holds up). They're going to need Manny, not Mench and Turnbow.

    This is just ridiculous, but at least it's encouraging to see Rickie take it the opposite way with some serious authority. Just about any other night that's a homerun.

    Now there is some thunder, looks like this game is going to be ending very shortly. It would be nice to maybe get one more run, but that could be asking a bit too much of this team at this point.

    I wasn't really referring to restrictions or pitch counts, I just don't know how long a guy making his major league debut can last. Especially when he's had major surgery and never pitched above A ball.

    Before this game started you knew one of two things were going to happen. 1 - he was going to get absolutely shelled, I'm talking only lasting a few innings OR 2- he was going to completely shut us down. So far it looks like number 2, at least in that inning. That was terrible. Talk about domination. Only positive is that it's still early and I doubt this guy throws much more than 5 innings.

    Way to go Geoff. Must feel good for him to get off to a good start rather than waiting for September when we're out of the race.

    If you think he's been overrated you might also think he wouldn't be able to outproduce Jenks/Mench at this point, I don't think he would be much of an upgrade at this point. That and the fact that it would take way more than Capellan. If the Mets would do that deal then hell yeah I'd want him, but I don't know what the hype is about this guy... yet.

    Bumpity bump bump .... bump bump. Got drunk wastching Slap Shot tonight, with the aid of about 20 games of beer pong. I wasn't very victorieious. You'll have that.

    One way I look at it is would I rather have Hardy at SS and Hall in CF, or Hall at SS and Brady Clark/Gabe Gross in CF? I'd rather have Hardy at SS. I like Gross, but I like Hardy at SS more than I likeGross in CF. Just my opinion.

    Who do you propose that we get at CF that can also lead off? Basically no one on the FA market and anyone else could cost an arm and a leg. Just curious as to who you were thinking about.

    Went out tonight. My buddy got 'motorboated' by this very good looking blonde with a large chest, boy she was good looking. The drink of choice tonight was beam and coke, didn't pay for anything as my debit card was lost last week in Winona. Thank goodness for friends that look out for fellow drinkers. A good night to all.

    Ugh. As shaky as Capellan may have been I'd hate to give him and Mench for Lieber if there is nothing else coming back from Philly. How about just Mench for Lieber straight up if we were going to do that deal.

    Do the Brewers package Mench and Turnbow together to try to get more, or do they do seperate deals, assuming they are both going to be dealt. What would be a better option?
