  1. Agree with the potential/production argument. Slippery slope. I had Rodriguez at 5 based on potential (obviously). I would also like to point out that I've ranked Gilbert Lara and Hedbert Perez well within my top 5 in the past as well (but Chourio too).
  2. I'd be fine with it. I always thought the 2/25 talk was crazy, but we'll see. It certainly makes zero sense for us. 2/8 w/escalators for games started, fine. I kinda think his career is in serious jeopardy though.
  3. I know voting is closed, but I wanted to make a list anyway. Thanks for putting this together. 1. Jackson Chourio 2. Jeferson Quero 3. Jacob Misiorowski 4. Joey Ortiz 5. Yophery Rodriguez 6. Tyler Black 7. Brock Wilken 8. Luis Lara 9. D.L. Hall 10. Cooper Pratt 11. Robert Gasser 12. Carlos Rodriguez 13. Eric Bitonti 14. Eric Brown, Jr. 15. Bradley Blalock 16. Josh Knoth 17. Felippo Di Turri 18. Logan Henderson 19. Jadher Areinamo 20. Luke Adams
  4. Agree 100%. My least favorite Brewer trade since Daniel Norris.
  5. I think this is wildly unlikely.
  6. I get it. I would only trade him for controllable pitching, which, to me anyway, is far more important than any other position.
  7. Jesus Luzardo. I'm speaking this into existence.
  8. An important distinction that few here seem to have grasped.
  9. He's been retired for almost 15 years so I hope not. ;)
  10. Imagine giving Bellinger 6/144. God I hope the Cubs do that.
  11. Right. $4MM this year.
  12. Junis makes $4MM this year
  13. If he has the same year he had last year there's no chance he takes the q.o. and no chance he signs for less than 50MM in my opinion. I think he'd get 100MM if he was a free agent right now. Or maybe slightly less.
  14. Actually $1M less for this year. Which may or may not matter.
  15. And he hasn't had the benefit of the Brewers pitching lab like Houser did over those 200 innings.
  16. I sure hope so.
  17. The split of the contract implies that they're still spending so that's good.
  18. Musgrove has negative value according to BTV. So if you take his contract you can have him. It's 4/80. I don't believe that though. Hard to figure his value since he's coming off of a shoulder injury. Shoulders scare me a lot more than elbows.
  19. I remember the covid thing, but I guess I brain-farted on the domestic issue. Obviously not great. I would guess that's a factor for him.
  20. I can't recall the Brewers ever having 8 55 guys in the system. Pretty impressive. Plus another 5 50 or 50+ guys. Gonna be an exciting few years.
  21. Clevinger seems so obvious that I'm almost surprised that it hasn't happened. 2/24. Get it done.
  22. Agree in general, but man, 5 of those 6 guys are lefties. Seems crazy to me.
