  1. All things being equal. Obviously.
  2. Their pitching sucks. If everyone stays healthy, I think the Brewers win the division easily.
  3. Been talking about this for 6 months. Was hoping to land Chafin, but Britton would be a very good option.
  4. I think it is 4-5th highest. I also think he's the 2nd best catcher in baseball if not the best.
  5. Bottom line for me is that $12.5MM/year is damn cheap for a top-shelf Catcher.
  6. Agree on Contreras, but I think that Murphy deal is absolutely fantastic for the Braves. In a theoretical world, if the Braves called up and offered Murphy for Contreras I'd say yes and hang up before they changed their minds.
  7. And you can't pay for any of it with cash. Which aggravates me to no end for a variety of reasons.
  8. 1. Jackson Chourio 2. Sal Frelick 3. Jeferson Quero 4. Garrett MItchell 5. Brice Turang 6. Tyler Black 7. Robert Gasser 8. Joey Wiemer 9. Eric Brown 10. Hendry Mendez 11. Jacob Misiorowsi 12. Jace Avina 13. Hedbert Perez 14. Carlos Rodriguez 15. Abner Uribe 16. Luis Lara 17. Robert Moore 18. Freddy Zamora 19. Janson Junk 20. Felix Valerio
  9. That's what he did. All those signings are within 3 days of Anderson.
  10. Singleton makes sense. Some day we'll be rid of Alexander. Soon hopefully.
  11. Who's getting DFA'd to make room for him? I know there are options, just wondering what the consensus is. Alexander? Please? Singleton seems like the other logical candidate.
  12. I knew if I was wrong you'd connect me. Thanks for the data as usual.
  13. In other words they still kinda stink vs lefties.
  14. Meh. Not bad, not great
  15. Thanks. As someone who watched both there was no way that info was accurate. Now I know why. Cooper is clearly #1.
  16. Yeah, I was wondering who this Palmisano guy was, then I realized he meant Lou Palsmo.
  17. Well that was a peaceful 24 hours after the Contreras trade. Back to normal I see.
  18. Hmmm......I looked but must have missed it in the past. Thanks.
  19. I was updating my co-worker every day. Telling him how much a batting champ was likely to make in free agency. Aaahhhh,.,,,,,,,,good times.
  20. Fine. Versatile player. Not much power. Bats righthanded which is good I guess. Reverse splits, but pretty bad against both, although still quite young. Bonus points for dating my co-worker's daughter for all of high school (he went to Ozaukee High School in Fredonia).
  21. Find me any scouting report that says he is a likely CF. I just looked again. I found 6 that said he's not. He's probably a LF, and I personally think Frelick is probably a LF too. Edit to add: Where are you finding minor league range factors? I'd be interested to see them. thanks
  22. Only if he reeeeeally leans into it and it hits him on his giant elbow pad like always.
  23. There's pretty much zero indication that he'll ever be a CF, let alone a CF that creates WAR with his defense. That was always the biggest problem with him in my eyes. He's been considered a minus fielder all along.
  24. I gotta admit, I wouldn't even have been that mad if they traded Ruiz just for the 2 pitchers let alone Conteras. ?
