  1. Right, these guys aren;t any good. Much like Axford is horrible, as you have made clear in the IGT.
  2. Wow, great stat. And I'll bet 80- 90% of that difference is Greinke/Marcum vs the carousel of starting pitchers they had in their place last year.
  3. 4 outs after a runner at 3B with nobody out, now THAT'S a save!
  4. I thought it was that Mat Gamel struggled in the tiny amount of at-bats we gave him so therefore Taylor Green will struggle too. True, and he is way down the scale of veteran grit.
  5. Yea, but rookies can't hit and/or can't deal with the pressure of a pennant race. Just ask Posey.
  6. That's what's so puzzling. Poke it to right and score 2 and he would be a hero. Why did he think we needed a grand slam? Rhetorical question there....
  7. No change up in the dirt on 0-2? Here we go....I don't like this one bit.
  8. Back to guessing wrong. Have never seen a player guess so often, and be wrong so often.
  9. Camon Casey, one of your patented triples right here.
  10. I don't think you pitch around him, but I agree don't throw strikes. They have to be closer to the plate than this though. Oh, especially the last 2.
  11. Always good to know who's batting when you're an announcer.
  12. You really need to stop trying to argue against pulling Estrada. He was only going to go about 5 because he's not stretched out. So regardless of whether or not his spot was coming up in the order, he was done. RR putting in his best bunting pitcher was a very smart move, since he didn't have to waste a pinch hitter. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was initially arguing that they should not pull him soley for offensive reasons when you're going to bunt anyways. If they're pulling him anyways, of course that was a good move. I just thought he could have gone an extra inning since he was cruising with a relatively easy road. I'm glad Saito had an easy inning, proving the move decent. I admit I'm not all that familiar with the difference between 60 some and 70 some pitches for a normal reliever. I do, however, think the Brewers should stay aggressive with a lead in the division, and we've seen RR a bit conservative. Yea, that was my bad. Not real clear in my original post. Now, back to hearing about how racing sausages are not old school.
  13. This is really cool to hear the conversations between the players and ump
  14. Can Krod go though? Looked pretty gimpy last night.
  15. Saito never pitches more than an inning- never.
