    So they base their opinion from an isolated brawl from 16 years ago? I doubt it. I think it's as simple as how you were raised. Packers are #1 by far all over the state for generations. Brewers #2, probably very close to the Packers in the Milw area. I think the Bucks base is there as it always has been, and growing now due to Giannis, winning, and just more interest in general from younger generations.

    No, I still don't get the "NBA culture" thing. Only examples anyone has shared is bad officiating and superstars dictate the game. Sounds like the NFL to me, not the NBA. As far as millennials go, I'll leave that alone since it's impossible to "prove" one way or another. My kids' circle of friends and millennials at work are my only basis, and they're definitely bigger Bucks fans than Brewers fan in general. Sure, they go to more Brewer games but that's more a social activity.

    How else could you explain giving up almost 300 yards rushing, 220 to a journeyman on his seventh team in five years, well over half of those before contact? The rushing defense Sunday was the most pathetic thing I've ever seen on a football field. Where was their pride? Where was their manhood? Lack of effort is all it could be. Even Mike Pettine's game plan wouldn't explain away that abortion of a performance. And let's not forget Rodgers not making any effort to recover a fumbled snap. That was worse than Newton in the Super Bowl. At least Newton took a step or two toward the ball. You could explain it by showing how LBs and Safeties were out of position and/or took horrible angles getting to the ball. Also this "journeyman" narrative that keeps coming up is irrelevant. He's a good RB regardless if he was #1 overall pick or an undrafted FA.

    I think he knew exactly what he was doing. It's a wake-up call, and most if not all the players know he's right.

    What do you perceive as the "NBA Culture?" Also, I think most of us may be a little older so don't notice, but millennials all over the state love the Bucks more than the Brewers in general.

    Same here! Last year I got two game tickets, that ship has sailed. Bucks remind me of another great MKE style thin crust pizza- Calderone Club. Finally, put me down as a strong NO for Papa Murphys. Can't stand it, honestly would rather have Kwik Trip or even a frozen Jacks.

    I would be open to that. It would clear up a ton of cap space plus multiple 1st round picks? Sure, I would consider that. Problem is, of course, it's impossible due to the $40MM dead cap hit the Packers would take next season if they did that.

    I honestly think they are two players away from having a really dominant defense. I wish that was true. If Savage and Clark were as good and consistent as they could by e, and Gary played like a 1st round pick they would be two players away. As it stands though they need a MLB, 2 linemen, and a CB better than King. Dominant is a high bar.

    I'm saying it doesn't matter for Philly/Boston. Not having a deep bench costs them wins over the regular season, but won't be a factor in the playoffs when they can go to 7 or 8 man rotation. More importantly, they can play their top 6 more minutes. Bucks depth, as you said, plays a big role in racking up all these regular season wins. In the playoffs, Giannis, Middleton, etc. will get more minutes and the bench will be reduced. But the main thing is they have Hill/Donte that can take over for Bledsoe/Matthews and Korver when needed. In other words, yes, the depth will help the Bucks but Boston/Philly will actually be better off in the playoffs not giving minutes to marginal/crappy players.

    Being deep enough doesn't matter in the playoffs. I think you're being overly confident by saying none of them can beat the Bucks- they absolutely can. The Bucks are clearly the best team, and Giannis the best player. But they can be beat in a playoff series, make no mistake about that. Too many times the Bucks just stop running their offense, players stop moving, ball stops moving. Periods where they turn it over, get beat on the boards, miss layups, etc. Yea, every team has those but it's what I call "freaking out." If they don't freak out and just play their game, they will win it all- no doubt in my mind. I just can't predict if that will happen with certainty. Side note, I think Bud will have a quick hook with Bledsoe and Matthews. We''re starting to see that already. If Donte shoots the 3 tin the playoffs he way he has the last couple weeks that will be huge. I think he is the x factor.

    As usual, how do you know Donaldson would have ever signed with the Brewers, short of overpaying? He knows he may need the DH later in this contract, may like the AL more for other reasons, who knows. This trend is actually getting really old. Player X signs with team Y, and poster Z complains the Brewers are cheap. Over and over and over. Stearns may not be perfect, but he's shown he knows what he's doing. He has to look at the short term AND the long term, not jump like a puppy at every sexy name available in FA.

    Have had YTTV for a couple month now. Love it, no turning back. I had NFL Network before when I had Spectrum, but didn't watch it much then so don't miss it now. I do miss History and a couple other channels a little but I'll live with it saving $100/month. I didn't even realize there was a delay in live sports btw. I guess how would I know, so I'm fine with that too.

    Also, I've learned not to put any stock in bar pizza. "This bar or that bar has the best pizza!" So I try it, and it is good, but no different than good pizza at any bar. Sometimes really not that good at all. I really think it's because someone has a couple beers, is really hungry, so that pizza is the best thing in the world.

    I fully appreciate it, and enjoy watching every game. Because no matter what happens in the postseason this team is so fun to watch. Last year they had the #1 or #2 offense and defense, depending on what metric you want to use. They didn't even make it to the finals, let alone win it all. They are dominant, but winning a playoff series against a really good team is so different than the regular season. We'll see if Giannis is ready to be king.

    Pizza Ranch for the win! Seriously though, Balistreri's in Tosa, Albanese's in Waukesha, Zaffiros (restaurant not a slice at MP), and Pizza King in Appleton probably the best of my favorite type- MKE style pizza. Sammy's in Appleton was also great, but moved then closed down. North Lake Inn is a bit out of the way from anywhere, but it's very good. They supposedly have Mama Mias recipes or something. I fondly remember Skis in Whitewater, had a unique taste and texture or something. Also love a nice super slice from Rocky's.

    Here's how I look at the game. The Niners are a better team, man for man. Also playing at home, so that's two advantages. So there's two ways the Packers can win the game. Game plan and execution. On both sides of the ball they need to show things they haven't done, or haven't done very often. For example, in the Seahawks game they had Alexander blitz off the corner with a quick clean shot on Wilson. They need more of that vs the Niners. Corner blitzes and safety blitzes coming from everywhere, and vary the downs so it's unpredictable. The other thing we saw vs the Seahawks was a lot of backfield action and creative plays to start the game. Once the scripted plays were done, we never saw that offense anymore even though it worked. Get back to more of that stuff scattered throughout the game. Turn the no huddle on and off constantly series by series. Different personnel groups on virtually every play, including the 2 RB set with Carson, 6 lineman, 5 wide, 3 TE. All of this at least forces the defense to think and be a bit more reactive. I mentioned execution earlier. Obviously important for the players, but applies to coaches too. In a game like this, burning timeouts early, not using your challenges properly, decisions to go for it on 4th down...all those decisions will really matter. We'll need all o that to win, including Rodgers A game.

    The Bucks are on pace to go 70-12 halfway through the season which would be the third best record in NBA history. They have a point differential of a full 4 points better than the second best team in the NBA. What do they need to do to impress you? Even if they go undefeated the rest of the way there is going to be a segment of fans that is not convinced that this team can win in the post season until they see Giannis successfully defeat the Giannis wall. I think it's a large segment, and I fall into that. They should have won it all last year, and didn't. So I will not be convinced they can do it until they actually DO it. They re the best team in the league again, and Giannis is the best player. With his improved 3PT shooting, he's even better this year. But Giannis needs to play like the superstar he is in every series, and the team in general has to bring their A game. I don't like predictions, so I don't play that game. I could see them losing in the semis of the East or winning it all, and everything in between.

    I think it's the opposite. Out of respect to a veteran and everything he went through, Brewers let him go early instead of letting him hang around then likely cut him in April where he may have to scramble for a job. This way he had plenty of time to find the right spot. A prove it year in a pitchers park is a great fit for him.

    Right, almost. Titans could have delay of game again, since Patriots had offsides . But it wouldn't make sense, because clock wouldn't have started running under 5 minutes.

    Yes, I think any HC could benefit from a year or two off. Only if they're humble enough to reflect on the past, improve, and adapt. That was MM biggest fault, stubborn to change, became to predictable, and it all got stale. No doubt lack of talent on the field really hurt too. Should be fun to watch how thingd unfold.

    Stearns wants flexibility, that simple. Thames can realistically only play 1B vs RHP. You can agree or disagree with how Stearns wants to build a roster, but easy to see how Thames doesn't fit.
