  1. They may be 7-1, yea not a SB contender.
  2. Packers don't blitz enough, and aren't very good at getting home when they do.
  3. it did but after he wad oob.
  4. Another well designed play for that TD. FB comes flying in from the side to seal the block.
  5. Ran the ball well, overcane 2 penalties, long throw and great catch by Kumerow the big play. Watch the TD, they had both Jones/Williams in at the same time. Nice play.
  6. Rosgers has someone open cutting across on every play. Take what's there, especially on 3rd down
  7. Trash games by Middleton and Bledsoe, Giannis out last 5 minutes and they beat a darn good team on the road. I'm pumped. Great to see them run the offense through Lopez in the post. That's a great set for them with Giannis out. Sova doing Sova things is always fun.
  8. Exactly. And I'll say this. If he wants to leave for any of those reasons, fine. But if I hear about not being able t win here, etc., that's a different story. Bucks have done everything Giannis wanted then to do. He wanted everyone back, wanted his brother on the team, etc. If they don't win, it will largely be because of himself anyhow, just like last year. I'm really not consumed by this anyhow, i'm just going to enjoy the season and try to avoid all the off court noise.
  9. No. He did not sign it yet when he could have- that's beyond comments. That's not why I went from 95 to 50/50 though, that's more about months going by and taking the emotion out of it. Realizing a superstar staying in Milwaukee has never been something to rely on.
  10. I don't care about comments, I care about actions. And I'll be concerned until he actually signs the super max. I used to believe it was a 95% chance he stays, but now I'm closer to 50/50. IF his agent, TV networks, family members, his girlfriend, and most of all Nike all encourage him to move that's a lot to overcome. Not saying any of those ARE putting pressure on him, just noting if most/all of those sources are encouraging him to leave, it's not as easy as "I'm loyal, I love Milwaukee." Sorry, I'm just not that naive.
  11. Def Leopard
  12. I don't think 12-4 gets them a #2 seed. Niners and Saints both look like 13-3 teams to me.
  13. Pre-season is over. Time to get to business. First game is a tough one @ Houston. Can they get to 60 wins? YES Will they be able to replace Malcolm Brogdon's production? YES Will Dragan Bender play meaningful minutes? YES, well depends on the definition I guess Can they trot out a Giannis, Lopez, Lopez, Bender, Ersan/Wilson lineup just for fun? YES. Well, close. Substitue Middleton for Bender and I think they'll try it.
  14. Greene is eligible to return week 11, but I havent heard anywhere how his injury is coming along. Also, Josh Jackson may as well be cut tomorrow. A CB who literally can't cover anyone is not exactly the profile you're looking for on defense.
  15. I'm guessing it has nothing to do with that. Hiura was known to be a poor fielder, and Arcia didn't struggle in the field. My guess, CC was intimidated by Subero's perfect flowing hair.
  16. Any rumors out there about WRs being available in a trade? It just seems obvious the Packers would be legit contenders to win it all with another legit real weapon for Mr. Rodgers.
  17. One challenge for the entire game per team. You can "buy" one more if you were right on your challenge. If you're wrong, you lose all time outs for the game. That will eliminate all the BS until the end of the game, unless there's a really blatant call earlier. Which......was supposed to be the whole purpose of replay ro begin with.
  18. That wasn't my point. Being at the game was the only way to simultaneously see ALL the officials and how they reacted. Also, my example of the Graham play is something likely not shiwn on TV at all. Obviously my live view of TD/ no TD can't compete with zoom ins, slow mo, multiple camera an GB les, etc.
  19. I was at the game, in the corner where the Lions "scored" their TD on 4th and goal from the one. You could not see the ball cross the line. That's not the worst part though. Two officials said no TD. Then the other line ref decided very late to slowly raise his hands to make the TD signal, looked very unsure the whole time. So if it's THAT unclear, how do you award a TD? Easy, you figure replay will clean it up. That's yet another huge problem with replay. If you call a TD on the fled, you better be SURE you saw the ball cross the line. I don't think the line ref did. Also, illegal contact, holding etc. happens all the time in the secondary, granted. But there was a really blatant hold on Graham that took away a TD. Just when he came out of his break, the DB literally hugged him. That's why I'm not buying the narrative the Packers won the game due to the refs. We see the questionable calls that ARE called, not the ones that are missed. And spotlight is really on these calls at the end of the game. They even out. Lions couldn't get the ball in the end zone, let the Packers hang around, and it bit them. That's why they lost.
  20. Full disclosure, I'm not a big Bledsoe fan. But I don't see this is a problem at all, in fact with all the guards they have it let's them give big minutes to Donte and Sterling early in the season to see what you have. And experiment more with big lineups. People still think of PG like it's 1986. NBA offenses are pretty positionless these days, Bucks moreso than most. You just don't need a "true" PG. Defense is where it comes into play, and where losing Bledsoe could hurt a bit. Someone who can hang with quick guards. But it's not like that one thing is going to cost that many (or any) games.
  21. Korver is getting all the attention, but Matthews and RoLo will have a bigger impact. If anyone watched the 2nd half of the Jazz game, you had a glimpse. Bucks defense suffered last year when Lopez was out. Now with his brother, there will always be a rim protector, often 2. One of the most underrated things in the game today. Matthews hit 3s, but also showed he can still penetrate and dish or finish. I said it after all these moves were made. I really liked Brogdon. But Matthees, Korver, RoLo, and Bender >> Brogdon and Mirotic. One more thing. Enough with talk about Giannis improving his shooting. This happens evert off-season. Look out league, wait and see his 3ball. So and so has been working with him. He's never worked harder on it. Just stop. He can't shoot, and that's ok. Kareem couldn't shhot 3s if they existed then, neither could Shaq. It may happen one day, we don't know. Until then, I would be thrilled if he got back to shooting 77-78% from the line.
  22. I honestly thought that show ended 10 years ago.
  23. Giannis playing like this is game 7 of the finals and olympic gold medal game combined. Great tone to set for the team.
  24. Thise Cleveland examples were specific moments. A season or even a game doesn't really fit the mold.
