  1. Seriously. This guy makes me question his ability every single day. With as highly recommended as he came I am just baffled by the decisions.
  2. That pitch was in the exact same place as the one that was a ball one pitch earlier.
  3. why would Grienke bat for himself just to get taken out of the game? Especially when they scored a run that inning.
  4. Gameday had that up and in, borderline strike. If you are going to swing 3-0 it better only be on FBs down the middle. Exactly. You don't swing 3-0 unless you know you can hit it hard somewhere.
  5. Jeeeeez. Swing at 3-0 and make an out. Come on now.
  6. So is Carl Crawford. What's the point? Plush is out, Gomez is struggling. He is doing just fine for a fill in if you ask me. He is not good. That's the point. He shouldn't be playing as much as he is. Gomez and Kotsay are about the same offensively with Gomez being far far superior defensively. If you want to it Gomez thats fine, I get it. But Boggs should be playing in those cases. Having an aging vet who doesn't play good D at one of the premier defensive positions is a bad idea. Its not that RRR doesnt have options. Gomez and Boggs are both better options.
  7. But he is .375 lifetime hitter against Marquis. Gotta play the vet to keep him sharp.
  8. And he has to play a better OF than Kotsay. Can any of the stat heads confirm?
  9. And Kotsay has a .357 average against Marquis. So you need to play him. Someone forgot to tell Ron that Kotsay has only had 5 AB's against Marquis in the last 3 years and only 14 total AB's
  10. I know Plush is coming back, but I am really starting to question whether or not RRR is going to start Kotsay over PLush in CF and Hart in RF.

  12. Like April 2012 http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  13. Well RRR has shown that his policy is that gritty veteran types like Counsell and Kotsay shouldn't be playing more than once a week. Oh wait...
  14. Maybe I am not seeing what everyone else is, but to me DIllard looks very hittable and wild.
  15. Did you forget to blue this? Yea. I am not smart. Not sure what I was thinking there in regards to the tying run business. Not sure if I thought it was 3-2 already. Not a big deal I suppose.
  16. Nice gutsy inning Ax. Glad we got the win, but Hart really has to understand the situation there. Should have held up and kept Tulo to a single. That run is huge, because it makes everyone who comes to bat the tying run and with where they were in the lineup that is not something to mess with. No reason to give them the run by trying to make a play like that in that situation.
  17. Great outing tonight Marcum. Didn't even have his best stuff today and he still goes 8 innings with 8 K's. I knew this guy was good, but man seeing it with my own eyes is something else.
