I'm not concerned about the bullpen. I am concerned that we have a manager that has no idea how to manage it. I would be comfortable with Ax, Hawkins and Braddock as our late inning guys with the rest as fill ins. When Saito comes back I feel even better about the top end of the pen. Problem is that will never happen because the guy running the ship is clueless.
Weeks 4 Hart 9 Braun 7 Fielder 3 McGehee 5 Betancourt 6 Lucroy 2 Gomez 8 Marcum 1 Not much to complain about here other than McGehee still batting 5th. Don't have a huge problem with it given the other options, all are scuffling somewhat at the plate.
I only really have a problem with Nieves. He sucks bad. The only reason he is a "defensive specialist" is because he can't hit a lick. I haven't seen anything that warrants that title. I am conflicted about Counsell, because I love the guy and he plays great D. But man it feels like he has lost it offensively. If we can bring in an IF to who has some pop off the bench for Wilson and get rid of Nieves for Kottaras I'll be much happier with the bench.
Anyone else listening to Uek say that RRR was telling him he has no idea what the score is during the game. All he cares about was whether or not we won. He said "He goes if our players jump up so do I and then I ask them what happened" I'm sure some of this was said in jest but it would sure explain a lot.
Discovery World is cool if you like dorky museum stuff. Yea its kid oriented, but there is still cool stuff for adults to do. Lots of cool science related stuff. I enjoyed it and the building itself is worth it to go.
Wow. Just saw the replay. I hope Chicago plunks him tomorrow. So ridiculous that the Cards are the "keepers of the game" and Poo hols can pose like that.
Seriously. That team every year has people playing over their heads. Loshe, McClellan, Molina. And then Sir Albert comes through every freaking time he needs to. Don't get it. We should have gained ground on them by now.
