  1. Gallardo needs to start getting into the 7th inning. I cannot believe how much he nibbles with 2 strikes. Its like watching DD.
  2. But Werth is batting .357 against lefties and Ibanez is nowhere near the hitter that Howard is. Definitely not someone you need a lefty specialist for. Villa would be a good option because of that changeup. Its worked out so far and I guess with the bullpen cashed its not the worst idea. Just not what I would like to see in a tight game.
  3. well at least we can count on Braun and Fielder to have good at bats here. Oh wait...
  4. The offense is in the top 5 for every offensive category except batting average, which they are 9th (including walks and OBP). Kind of hard to say they haven't been good. I understand a lot of that was against the Pirates and they have been a roller coaster, but no question if the pitching staff had been better we would be in a much better position.
  5. I know older versions of Handbrake would do this. I am not sure if the newest ones will or not. Its a free download and combined with VLC is what I use for just about any and all of my video needs. Try it out and see what it says.

  7. Listening to my first game without Uek, because the game is blacked out in NM. Really odd to here Davey and no Bob. Just doesn't feel right.
  8. Yeah I was completely shocked that he shot Dana. Jack usually only kills when he has to not for revenge. I gasped haha
  9. Just figured I would start off today's action with a Go Bucks! Fear the Deer.
  10. awesome win. My tv went out right before they went on the big run to go up by one and when I turned it back on they were back in the lead. I told my gf that I should just not watch the rest of the game.
  11. I cannot understand this. He has blown three saves and in general has looked below average and the pitching coach doesn't think to ask their changeup specialist why he isn't throwing that pitch?? Everyone here has pointed it out, why can't our pitching coach see this?
  12. I absolutely love the Prince plays. His combination of goofiness and passion make me smile every time. His antics in the dugout are great. I really hope that we can re sign the chubby guy.
  13. Exactly. Suppan should have never been in the rotation to begin with. I would rather have Parra as well, but if Brewers management had to choose between Suppan in the rotation or anyone else I am just glad that Suppan is not pitching every five days anymore.
  14. While I agree that he should be extended I do think it sucks especially from a financial side of things that he has been hurt so much during his cheap years. I would obviously love to see him stay healthy and productive, but I wish we would have gotten some healthy time from when he was still cheap.
  15. I loved the fact that it was against the Pirates. After all the smack they talked last year and the fact that Duke hit Rickie yesterday. I loved the can being opened on them.
  16. As luck may have it I was watching the Brewers Jays 22-2 game up late when my parents were out to dinner for the evening and I was working from home today. I wouldn't have seen either game normally. Just a special afternoon where you can do no wrong. I had a friend ask me before the game if the Brewers would beat the Pirates today because he was doing the ESPN Beat the Streak. My response. "The Brewers own the Pirates." Didn't prove me wrong today guys. Good on ya!
  17. My girlfriend is from Kenosha so I will get some more info for you, but from my times in K-town with her are Sunnyside, Captain Mikes and the Boat House. Not sure if those will fit the bill but I have been to each place. I can get you some more info when she gets home.
  18. I think we need more videos in this thread http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  19. Two questions for you here. Why were you worried about Hoffman? I have seen this multiple times in this thread. Was it simply because he is older than most or was there something down the stretch? When a guy has had as much success as Hoffman has I wouldn't get worries about a guy until he starts showing me a reason to. Also of course he needs to locate his pitches. The same could be said for every pitcher. You realize this isn't that uncommon April for pitchers right?
  20. Not worried at all. He isn't using his changeup right now. Fastaball hasn't lost any zip. It would be one thing if his fastball was down 3-4 MPH. That's not the case. As soon as he starts having success with his changeup I expect him to have the same sort of success that we have known to expect. As others have mentioned he gave up a HR to a dude on his knees (tip your cap) and two to two of the best hitters in the game. This is not the time to talk about Hoffman going to the DL or making much of anything out of two BS. It's always funny when things like this pop up. No one has started a Casey Mcgehee is avoiding the sophomore slump thread despite having a great start to the season, Does it suck he has two BS this early? Yes of course. But I am not getting my panties in a bundle just yet.
