  1. I totally agree. Although this game wouldn't be on Extra Innings either. Still pretty frustrating though. I will never understand MLB's blackout rules. How do you blackout a "national broadcast"when there are multiple "national broadcasts" being broadcasted all over the country?
  2. Love the signing. I think its a great move to lock up Yo. On another note for those who watched the press conference or clips on Brewers.com doesnt Yo just seem like the most down to earth guy ever? I love how he is talking about how this gives his son and family financial security while allowing him to just go out and play. Awesome.
  3. Haha. How did you beat me to this. I love to post snarky response threads to silly overreaction threads.
  4. Completely agree. Even if Laporta turns into a perennial all star that summer with CC was magical and well worth it.
  5. Don't you guys know this is the annual time where the noobs join the forum and then post crazy threads like this about how we can extrapolate all kinds of things out of the first few games. They take on the entire board and argue sound logic with their own cherry picked stats and assumptions. Eventually they become educated and begin to see the light. So James take a chill pill. Re-read this thread and look at your comments objectively. Take a look at all the evidence and points made by others and try to take some things from them. I am sure in 5 months you will be able to have a much more intelligent discussion, but who knows it might only take half the time.
  6. Do you also think that Prince will bat over .500 and McGhee will hit 81 home runs and 240+ RBI's?
  7. Here we go again...
  8. I was just about to post this. It really brought a smile to my face to know that big Z is getting lit up.
  9. Agreed. Its not that I am upset over 3 AB's. The last few years of work havent shown Edmonds to be a very good player. So the fact that we are judging him on one spring training is what makes me a little nervous. That coupled with the fact that I hav never liked him make this game start to confirm my fears. Ryan Braun bunting.... and discuss.
  10. There's that veteran leadership. I know I have been ragging on edmonds this entire thread but I have liked nothing about the fact that Edmonds is on this team since the day he signed with the Crew.
  11. That would have been nice with some men on Mr. Edmonds. I'm loving the fact that Casey has 2 solid hits in this game. Lets see if the Dude can come through here.
  12. Edmonds K'ing again with 2 outs and men on first and third.
  13. There is a great example of Escobar's speed and what it will do for you. That throw was definitely hurried.
  14. Ditto. Batting Edmonds at all, not to mention 5th is interesting.
  15. Happy Opening Day everyone! Sadly this is the first OD I have missed in a while, but I took off work and have a beer in one hand and steaks on the grill. Go Crew from Albuquerque, NM!
  16. See but I don't really think of clam chowder as a soup. Its kind of like chili. Its in the same class as soup but not really a soup. And clam chowder is great anywhere you go by water.
  17. I love soup too. Chicken noodleTomatominestronefrench onion They are all great. Jeff Suppan. Not so much. He has never lived up to his contract.
  18. If you are only going to be in Milwaukee or Chicago and dont need an iPhone or other major carrier exclusive go with US Cellular. They have hands down the best coverage in the Midwest. Customer service is awesome (US/Midwest based) if that matters to you. The only thing you will sometimes lack with US Cellular is the latest and greatest phones. If you are looking for awesome coverage at a good price, but dont need all the bells and whistles I see no need to look any further. For what its worth if I still lived in an area that had US cellular I would probably still have them, even with as much as I love my iPhone.
  19. Someone in the in game thread said it was a 2-2 curveball that hit him. If that's the case I hardly see this as something to get worked up about. If you are intentionally hitting someone its not with a 2 strikes or with a curveball
  20. Gotta love the patented Chloe scowl. And pulling a gun on someone, that was so awkward and funny of her. I liked the episode and did not expect Dana to be the mole. This season has been full of things that have been done in past seasons, but I think the past few weeks have helped turn the season up a notch.
  21. How much RAM? An often very inexpensive way to boost performance is to install some more RAM to the machine. Also, as others have said I would highly suggest backing up to a hard drive (which everyone should be doing already) and reformatting. You'll get a big boost in performance. Also get rid of Vista for Win 7.
  22. Cornell had way too many open looks. When you hang your hat on good defense and then let a team score almost 90 points, thats pretty disappointing. Yes, Cornell looked great today, but the Badgers didn't show up to play. Too many turnovers, awful play on the boards and too many open looks coupled with the fact that Cornell was lights out today led to an ugly, ugly loss.
  23. Wisconsin not showing up at all today. I knew this was going to be a tough game, but turning the ball over like they have been and giving the shooters that Cornell has such great looks is pretty disappointing.
