Can someone please tell me why we have the exact same offense as we did last year? Garcia and Renfroe are a wash. We added a DH. Great. Other than that, we have the exact same offense that disappointed us last year. Are we giving David Stearns a pass? I would hope not. We have a World Series pitching rotation and a division winning offense at best. We do not have the offensive weaponry to compete in the playoffs as was evidenced last year. Seriously, nothing? Tellez and Urias? The #1 need going into the offsesaon was what? Corner Infield! They did absolutley nothing and it's beyond me why no one is (especially those in the media) that are not asking Stearns this question...."why didn't you address your #1 offseason goal?" It really is a simple question. Unreal!! I'm not happy.

Kinda off topic but with the mentions of NY Mets, I am reminded of when we got Hader/Houser et all from Houston while Stearns was heavily involved with Houston at the time…and coming to Milwaukee to enjoy those same players that got traded. Could we see something similar with the Crew and Mets with the possibility that Stearns will be joint Billy Eppler in NY?

I mean absolutely useless. I feel for the guy. He’s gotta be going out if his mind just as we are about him. But I 100% agree, we can not have him be useless throughout his tenure.

The fact that MLB only scheduled one wildcard game on Tuesday and the other on Wed is a joke. The Crew shouldn't have to wait till Friday to play their game. Only one playoff game on Thursday? Both WC games should be on Tuesday with the 2 vs. 3 games being played on Wednesday and the 1-4 games being played Thursday. How did MLB screw that one up so royally?

I'm optimistic that Yelich will be coming back from his COVID break with a vengeance. I'm optimistic that Yelich will not be an MVP caliber Yelich, but an All-Star caliber Yelich when he returns.
