When the Packers were in this situation, Ron Wolf was the GM. He signed Reggie White, Santana Dotson and Keith Jackson to name a few. I'm not saying the Bucks will be able to turn it around but history shows that it can be done.

Back in the day they used to say the exact same thing about Green Bay.

The planet of RRR. I always knew he was from a totally different solar system.
-
Rickie Weeks is now 6 for his last 57. On what planet is batting him leadoff considered a good idea?
-
That is 3 walks for Gomez today. Probably the biggest improvement he has made in the last year and a half is his plate discipline.
-
Axford has absolutely nothing today. Not good on the day of a doubleheader.

I will never forget the 75 season when Scott could have easily been the MVP. He led the league in home runs and RBI's while winning a Gold Glove. And, by the way, he wasn't Boomer. He was THE Boomer, a one and only. Plus, IIRC, he coined the term tater for home runs.

I just don't understand what RRR thinks about in the dugout. Is it rocket science to figure out that Gorzelanny is going to tire quickly after 5 innings?

Another nice night by the bullpen.

Braun Suspended for Remainder of 2013 Season
sauveb replied to trwi7's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I find the 65 game suspension to be odd considering all of the "evidence" MLB supposedly had. Remember, they had the goods for a minimum of 100 games if not enough for a lifetime ban. It is going to be interesting to see what happens to the others, especially ARod. -
I much prefer the baby powder bath to the shaving cream pie to the face. Hopefully it will be the start of a new trend.
-
With our luck, we will win 47 games the rest of the year but it will take 48 to get in the playoffs.
-
You have to love getting something for nothing.

There just isn't any way that Roenicke can be defended at this point. He is just awful. He makes the same mistakes over and over and has never held his team accountable. The sooner he goes, the better.

Who is to blame for the atrocious 2013 season?

And now we are back to the overall lack of discipline on this team. If they are ignoring the third base coach and the manager can't stop it then it is time for a new manager.
-
How do you know that? How do you know Aoki didn't go on his own? If Aoki went on his own that shouldn't fall on Sedar. If that is the case it was a terrible bit of base running and the manager should take him to task about it. It would be another example of the lack of discipline that drives Turbo crazy. Either way it is ultimately on Roenicke's shoulders.
-
In that case he does what the manager tells him to do. That one is on RRR. How do you know that? It's not exactly a big secret. Most people who have spent some time in the game know those kinds of things.
-
Most of the runs we have given up have been on the contact play. Sedar does not put that play on it is done from the dugout. Same with the first and third steal. Sedar has to do what he is told or there will be someone else in there pretty quick.

We could have had second and third with one out and Ramirez up to bat. Instead it is a runner on second with two outs. Roenicke just doesn't get it.
-
I am beginning to wonder what is being taught by the Brewers minor league staff. Our players are so fundamentally weak that it is embarrassing.
-
Error on Segura but that ball was crushed.
-
The change in the strike zone is interesting. It was very tight before the rain. Both pitchers have received strike 3 calls that would have easily been balls earlier.
