  1. When I lived west of Shell Lake, which is southwest of Hayward, I received the Brewers on Direct. I moved after the 2013 season so I don't know about last year.
  2. The scapegoats for 2014 have been identified. I would be curious to know what Iorg did wrong.
  3. Current playoff odds, per Baseball Prospectus, are at 0.3%! So you're saying there is a chance.
  4. 6 pitches in the 9th? Who is this imposter dressed up like KRod?
  5. The good news: Overbay walks with two outs to load the bases. The bad news: Segura is up.
  6. Normally I would agree with you but since Patrick is touting a warmer than normal winter I am willing to give him a pass.
  7. I think MA is more to blame than DM. Remember when Roenicke was hired it was because Attanasio was blown away by RR's interview. He wasn't the choice of Melvin. Given Roenicke's aggressive philosophy from day one, what else could Doug do but build a team to match what the owner and manager desired.
  8. Win a few games and they go back to the same old over aggressive hitting philosophy. Ugh.
  9. Garza threw 23 pitches in the first inning. What he needs now is some rest time. This is where the free swinging aggressive approach hurts our pitchers. Garza needs his hitters to use up a minimum of 15 pitches this inning. I am not optimistic.
  10. Only 80 more pitches to go before RR can take him out.
  11. At least Gallardo got one out before he caved.
  12. It looks like there are plenty of good seats still available at Wrigley.
  13. Just got home from reffing a high school football game. Peavy has a perfect game going.
  14. Just got home from reffing a high school football game. Peavy has a perfect game going.
  15. I like the late start tonight. I can ref a high school football game and still hear and see most of the game.
  16. I hate the 7th inning anytime our bullpen pitches it. It doesn't make any difference who pitches it, I hate it.
  17. Let's see how the Padres handle the 1st and 3rd with no outs situation. Might be the difference in the game.
  18. 2nd and 3rd with one out and Gomez tries to bunt and then strikes out on a pitch out of the strike zone. Sometimes I think he doesn't really understand the game of baseball.
  19. 3 strike outs on pitches well out of the zone. This is getting irritating.
  20. Lucroy on third with nobody out. Ross throws 10 pitches, 3 in the strike zone, and gets two strike outs. Not good.
  21. This has the makings of another 10-1 game. Last night was a lot more fun.
