  1. Coach, are you in Arizona at Maryvale? I've been dying to get out there and take a look, but I can't find info anywhere... Help!
  2. The regular un-autographed 2001 elite is the one that books in Beckett for 40. The autographed one is actually a 2003 release of Recollection Collection, and is numbered 17of 27. Keep an eye out on ebay, there's some cards that sort of slip through sometimes and go for cheap. His 2002 SP authentic prospect autograph card sometimes sells under 15 bucks. There is usually a higher volume of Hall's rc's and auto's on ebay than there currently is. You could also try Naxcom.com and Sportlots.com. I've picked up alot of nice stuff there for under ebay market value. Good Luck!
  3. The elite's don't show up much, and being due to them being a redemption, its SAYS they are numbered to 1000, but there are only 404 of them out there. the last one I seen went for 50 bucks. While that will be his best rc, his Bowman chrome is right up there, especially refractors. (probably won't see alot of those either) Chrome is King, so they say, and still widely accepted as his rc (first bowman chrome card) The other donruss one isn't so great (cheaper, less sought after set). http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e196/Kevbo74/billhallelites.jpg Got some Brauns, Gallardo's, Salomes, or something? my arm might be twisted enough to deal... :-) Later Kevin
  4. technically it was circulated, just not in packs with all the rest of them. There are regular pack circulated ones, but the encapsulated ones are usually nicer in condition, and in this case, centering. It's hard to find a nice Billy Hall in good condition like that, and with perfect centering. I'll be a nice guy and won't bid against ya on this one..
  5. darn. I live in Phoenix, so I guess I'm out of luck there.. guess I better find a new guy to get excited about that I can actually watch.
  6. I want to see him pitch, seeing as I'm throwing all kinds of money into his baseball cards.. will he be pitching in arizona this year?
  7. the s's and the h are upside down, that's upperdeck for ya. nice job on the set though, i was thinking about going for it also, but didnt.
  8. First things first. Hi, I'm Kevin. I just found this place, and this is my first post. After reading around for a bit, I'm glad to find a spot with so many Brewers fans, and Brewers Farm system fans. (My friends don't follow as close) Anyway, I was looking at what Baseball America thought would be the 2010 starters... sorta liked what I saw. Thoughts? Catcher: Angel Salome First Base: Prince Fielder Second Base: Rickie Weeks Third Base: Ryan Braun Shortstop: J J Hardy Left Field: Bill Hall Center Field: Lorenzo Cain Right Field: Corey Hart No. 1 Starter: Ben Sheets No. 2 Starter: Yovani Gallardo No. 3 Starter: Dave Bush No. 4 Starter: Will Inman No. 5 Starter: Chris Capuano Closer: Jeremy Jeffress My first thought was - Capuano #5? Second thought was - Lorenzo Cain? I don't know everyone (anyone) here, so I don't know your thoughts on Cain, but I don't think so. Also, and it may stray from the topic, but I see Billy Hall coming back to the infield, either replacing Hardy, (who I'm not TOO big on anyway) or switching spots with Ryan Braun. Eager to hear responses, and eager to talking to you guys more. Later.
