wahpepah just looked bad tonight...he's got a funky motion, he doesn't throw very hard and he walked 3 guys...all the balls hit off of him were killed... Braun's throwing error was bad...but he made a great diving stop later in the game....The Hr was a line drive that was killed...he also nearly had a hr in his first ab too...hit it waaaay deep to center..he should be in High A immediately... Justin Barnes is good.

yay...a kenny holmberg mention by someone other than me!!!
  6. pogokat
kenny holmberg is awesome...his stats scream "notice me!" and yet... only poor pogo late at night does....
  7. pogokat
    you got wifed!
  8. pogokat
no one notices, but enrique cruz is hitting even better this week... on the other hand, brad nelson has completely forgotten how... he's got about a month left before the brewers cut him from the 40 man by my guess..

even though the brewers sucked it up, WV proves it is possible to win an extra inning game... edit: local man inman with four innings of no-hit ball double edit: Helena pulls it off late as well!!!

you can always watch the game on your computer while you watch some people cheese up good songs (some) on this inxs show...
  14. pogokat
not really....unless you count showing us that his smoke and mirrors tricks are finally running out....

ryan anderson still brings it...the high reward would be he stays healthy for a few years and becomes dan kolb...it's not that far out there...and what did he cost the brewers??? a roster spot on their High A team and probably less than 10 k
  16. pogokat
umm what harm was there in signing anderson???

I know alot of you will think I am crazy, but I would like to keep moving Braun up until he struggles... He could share time with Heether at 3rd and DH some at BC for the next few weeks... Then, if he keeps hacking away, move him up to Huntsville to finish out the year... Heether should have been in AA a month ago...some dude named castro is playing 3b for the stars...i think they could probably move him up...
  18. pogokat
wheres holmberg???? he's been hitting a ton as well...for a college guy in helena...
  19. pogokat
I think heether should be moved up immediately...then next year, start heether at AA and Braun at A+...hopefully you can move them both up about the all-star break...man...braun is killing the ball...you gotta wonder if the brass is thinking about moving him up again

How about " our offense couldn't catch fire if they were buddhist monks during the vietnam war" apologies in advance to anyone who reads this...
  21. pogokat
He may not walk much, but Mike Rivera has been killing the ball in AAA...I don't think the brewers should swap him for Chad Moeller quite yet, but i sure hope he sticks with the team and that they can keep him around as insurance next year as well.. <900 Ops, .575 Slugging...cool
  22. pogokat
If nelson cruz can play a serviceable CF, then he will start next year for the Brewers...Man, Having him in center with a .850+ ops. would be awesome... The Brewers could trade Carlos Lee and bring up Corey Hart to play a corner..Man..that would be a very good allocation of talent for the crew... I sincerely hope this works out.
  23. pogokat
Can you add a ".950 Ops Left Handed Catcher" line to the back of that?
  24. pogokat
    ya gotta bring up sarfate....
  25. pogokat
he could have mono or bronchitis or something that just slows you down for awhile
