  1. halladay is gonna win another cy young award
  2. there is a column on the left with a button named "image" click non it, then insert the link, and the pic should appear... http://wearcam.org/wearcompdef/fig1a.gif
  3. this place is becoming more and more fickle...
  4. nstead of getting 5 guys equaling 200 thousand dollars, the Brewers waited a year and grabbed one guy that they thought actually had a chance to make it and gave it all to him. You said it better than me, but that's essentially what I meant.
  5. well, the draft and follow is a great way to save money...i mean, nothing better than finding out if a guy sucks once and for all before you sign him... i think it's a great idea...also, it doesn't clog the lower levels of the minor leagues with guys that don't have any kind of chance...And truthfully, the DFE kid's are probably getting better coaching at their Junior Colleges than they would with 100 guys at extended Spring training
  6. not to bash your co worker, but i thought saw was ********...i can't believe how terrible carey elwes is...
  7. jim asked him about jemile, but i got out of the car before he answered...
  8. Injured shortstop Alcides Escobar was 10th in the league with a .312 average entering Wednesday's game. He is expected to return from an ankle injury this weekend. Just pulling this out, in case anyone missed it in the article
  9. Let me say this: Brian, if you ever need some under the table donations to keep this place rolling, i know a few guys here would definitely help you out...
  10. Salome looks like a power lifter...about 5 foot 4 and 160 pounds of muscle...i stood near him at spring training and i was probably 5 inches taller than him...and i'm 5' 11
  11. you guys do realize that Mark just came off the dl, right?
  12. he appears to have been a pretty good hitter as well
  13. teagarden at 99...i don't get excited about catchers
  14. yay...here's to rogers going on a roll
  15. I had the regional scout (larry aaron) tell me a couple of years ago that the brewers were going to take tim battle instead of rickie weeks...he looked dead serious, so i almost believed him...it's funny the way these things shake out..
  16. this has got to be it for obermueller...freakin' a...how come everyone forgets these starts when this guy has a good one??? ridiculous...
  17. well, gamecast is screwed up, so i guess i'll never know what just happened
  18. Enduring Love Grabbed this movie at random off the shelf at movie gallery and had a playful/distubring hickock-esque romp through London and the countryside around Oxford. The suspense in the movie was very real, and the whole thing was just plain interesting...In terms of movies about hot air balloon accidents, i'd say this is the best Crash A very interesting flick, but i'm not sure if it was anti racist enough...it was very painful at times..and so absurd that it was humourous at times...it was though provoking...but sorta hollow once you get past the "everyone's racist, but they don't mean to be jerks"---part. Not a rental yet, but destined to be one for most...
  19. here's my order: gordon upton maybin zimmerman I like the idea of maybin better than zimmerman...but i kinda believe in going after the most potential, rather than the sure thing
  20. corey still isn't hitting for power , but i bet he hit .300 in may...i still think he will be more useful than brad in the majors
