    $5 does not include shipping and handling... the point of the $5 bucks is that i can afford to drop like $50 and get a bunch of cds...and it makes you think..if it was $10, you could get practically anything...

    Ok here's what's up: I want you to recommend a cd to me that you think everyone should hear. the rules: This has to cost less than $5.00 at amazon.com it cannot suck i want recommendations for things i might not have heard before...i've got tons of music already, so don't be afraid to be obscure... also, lets keep it to one per each person...i'm actually planning on buying a bunch of discs, so don't give me a laundry list 1 album, not the entire catalogue...ie, say "American beauty" by the grateful dead as opposed to saying "dude, get some dead cd's..." finaally, links to a place where i can buy the cds would be cool, but it's not a big deal if you don't.. i'll play along myself here as well...

    i've gone from baseball cards, to car parts, to comic books, to rare video games... just like the stock market, i believe diversity is the key...that way you don't get burned on old stock...make sure whatever you are selling is rare and you can get it for less than the average buyer... and it's really hard to make lots of money on ebay...you are competing against the whole world...in a lot of ways it's harder to make money than it would be to just open your own retail outlet...sure, lots more prospective customers, but infinite competition drives the prices for everything down...

    actually, we've heard you about 50 times now...we just disagree with you...it's different... i'm ok with villy in the pen to start the season until someone falters...though i'd rather see bush in the pen because i think he would be a plus arm there... there's no room for vargas in the inn...

    Captain lou was off the charts awful in the second half last year...something went wrong after a strong first couple months...

    weeks... he's incredibly streaky...and while the injury was a nice excuse, rickie has really only dominated a half season of AAA and a couple of months next year... while i want him to break out, i wouldn't be surprised by .250/.350/.425 next year with 10 hrs and 20 sb...

    this is one of the weirder hollywood deaths in a while... consider these details: ---found naked ---surrounded by pills ---mary-kate olsen's apartment ---found by masuese ---3:30 in the afternoon... very strange...if i had to guess, i think this was probably a suicide...anyway, not expected in any way...definitely a will be missed guy...he was a very good actor...i feel like i would if an athlete i enjoyed watching died

    i get lots of signatures at minor league games because it helps me remember seeing the guys play...

    "Well our ace has pitched 156, 106, and 141 innings the last 3 years so we really have to find some guys to eat up innings right now out ace is not doing it." Manny has pitched 91, 86, and 133 innings each of the last three years...he's way more fragile than sheets and there's no guarantee that he can throw 200 innings at a high level...he's never done anything close to that...in fact, he's barely hit 200 innings in most two year spans... i think manny's awesome...and i still want him to be a starter...but counting on him to be in the rotation straight out of the gate is gonna work out like francisco liriano a couple years ago..

    Parra's never thrown more than 140 innings in a seaosn and he's a catastrophic injury risk...giving him 175+ innings in the rotation next year makes as much sense as wehn the brewers tried the same deal with neugebaur in the dark ages... parra needs to start in the pen or AAA...I prefer AAA because i would like to see him throw between 160-170 innings in 2008 with him taking a place in the starting lineup either mid 2008 or in 2009

    But Blalock means we have the risk that Joe Dillon or Vinny Rottino are not above average fielders when they are playing... with the guys that don't need a platoon you at least know the defense will be consistant...
